Maybe if you are a no coiner, once this shifts it won't go back. IMO

Paper gold is and always has been a scam.

If BTC gets to $100k and gold is still around $2k does gold not then become a very attractive investment? :)

Physical gold is scarce, its only the artificial paper market that masks its true value.

Who Will Be the Next to Enter Into the Bitcoin World? U.S. Banks, Amazon, Apple, Warren Buffett?

There are tutorial vids on their website. They actually have quite a good little crypto academy.

The BBC have noticed Bitcoin... Its actually a factually informative unbiased article for those with no knowledge of Bitcoin, odd for the BBC to keep any bias out of an article.

Bitcoin has traded at its highest value to date, reaching $19,920.53 (£14,821) according to data-provider Coindesk.

It took the virtual currency nearly three years to top its previous record, when it peaked about $137 lower.

Bitcoin has risen in value by more than 170% since the start of the year.

Analysts suggest some investors have treated it as a "safe haven asset" at a time of uncertainty caused by the coronavirus pandemic, but others warn that it remains volatile.

Bitcoin fell below $3,300 at one point after reaching its previous high......

Re TSLA - crazy - guess forced index buying for S&P 500 entry (21st Dec). I have managed to enjoy some of the ride through Scottish Mortgage, but even they reduced a bit. At least I stopped trying to short it a long time ago ...

It will be important to have cash ready to top up on BTC. I made that mistake back in March!

This is exactly why the big money is buying BTC and will continue to do so to protect against the weakening dollar. Some ups and downs maybe but one day soon we will be looking back at 20k as we do now at 2k.

Well crypto is going to need to decouple. I'm looking for DOW 12k next year so don't want any correlation with that :)

Yes. I worry about that too and how it will affect crypto. Will the terrible economic situation become visible in the stock market though with the FED behind the wheel?

Well gotta keep pumping equities Brasso! The bear market in the US next year is going to be something to behold...........

Anyone looked at Teslas valuation recently?! If you'd bought a year ago you're sitting on a 12 bagger now. I sold 6 months ago thinking it was nuts then. Hey ho.

Yes, it's sometimes hard to get your head around as linear charts are so pervasive. But log charts are more realistic and representative of the real world.

Over short ranges there's hardly any difference but if the highest value is more than say three times the lowest value, then log comes into its own....

These are the same chart, Top in "normal, linear" scale....Bottom in log scale.
