20 odd years working in equity derivatives as an algo trader and now run my own algos on MT4, mostly in FX.

......and there are lots of books and very successful systems that can be employed to great success IF you have the discipline and mentality.

BTC doesn't need to go up from here for ARB to have bumper profits. It just needs to stabilise. Its doubled+ from where it was recently, so in theory as someone said, that just goes to ARB bottom line.

Are you sure you're not attributing success to charts, when its actually your stock-picking, experience and other factors that are at work.

If charts could predict and were actually a reliable system, then it should be possible to provide a rulebook for others to use successfully. Otherwise its not a system.

Perhaps that's what you're saying - charts are just an additional clue.

You can't deny that a little bit of bitcoin in the investment portfolio can do wonders that other asset classes cannot. Wouldn't be a fan of going all in, but it does sit nicely in the corner doing its job.

Suffers ... good comments. Also expect some pullback in BTC at some point, but who knows when. I am no longer trading my ARB (was only trading a little around a core position anyway) ... may buy more on a big dip, but not selling until I see a big re-rating - 50p seems reasonable for 2021 - most shares overshoot up and down though, so who knows how high could go.

Just don't complain if/when it rerates and you haven't taken advantage of being able to buy when it was under-rated!

RIOT hold a huge amount of BTC on the balance sheet compared to ARB.Perhaps there are ways to invest in RIOT tax free in the US also?

The problem is, Teed6422 and fully displayed this morning, as usual, is this share has never been traded fairly. 9.5p per share with bitcoin well establishing in the $18000 plus range. $18221. just now and $20k now very possible by Christmas, 2020. With or without any "corrections". Ergo profit taking day traders. Should the November results accurately report the correct figures then this Company should show millions of dollars profit. We shall see.It certainly never reflects its worth regardless of how good that worth is said to be.If a degree of fairness were to be applied then yes, it's a 50p minimum price and 100p should not be unrealistic by next year.
