No offence Kcowe but that is a very unsophisticated approach to investing.Even if you don't call it right 49% of the time, trading will return you multiples over just holding and averaging down.The magic is down to what happens to the rule of 72 when you start reinvesting your income.I could not recommend, trading around your position more strongly. Top slice 10% in value at peaks and buy the same value back at lows then just observe how the number of your shares multiplies

Already done it once... Fingers crossed for a second time from here.British bulls are in cash from Thursday's sell signal btw.They have a pretty good track record here, you should check it out... Even if you're long, there's no reason to always hold, when you could trade around your position to get even more shares for free.
