01/8/2020 13:31 | "BTC only valued in USD". Duh? If you wish to buy a Lamborghini you can do so with BTC, as with many other items, investments and currencies. The seller would then pocket x btc to change for whichever currency they choose or hold for whenever they feel a given level to go fiat arises. In reality possible a very long time away. So maybe buy gold or hold! I think the only thing short about plat the tw*t is his or her stature. | 1new guy

01/8/2020 12:18 | What a fantastic move it was buying the Z11s for mining Zcash! :- 24 June 2020 Argo Blockchain PLC ('Argo' or 'The Company') Operational Update Argo, a UK-based enterprise-scale crypto miner (LSE:ARB), is pleased to announce an expansion of its mining capacity. On 19(th) June 2020, the Company purchased 750 Bitmain Z11 mining units for US$474,000 to add to the Company's existing 1,000 Bitmain Z11 mining units currently in production. The additional 750 units went into production immediately at the time of acquisition and are currently running at full capacity. The purchase of these machines was completed using a combination of cash from operations and arm's length financing. The Company considers this to be the most capital efficient means of acquiring these additional machines. The company selected the Bitmain Antminer Z11, rather than the newer Z15 model, because of the lower price and better value, the company's favourable outlook on Equihash algorithm cryptocurrencies, and the excellent performance of the company's existing Z11s. Based on the Company's conservative projections of mining difficulty rates and current cryptocurrency prices, the Company expects to recoup the cost of this investment in approximately 8 months. Peter Wall, CEO of Argo Blockchain, said: "We firmly believe that cryptocurrencies are well-positioned to become an even larger asset class, and that the correct strategy is continued investment in mining infrastructure. Argo's existing fleet of Z11s have performed extremely well, and we are pleased to add more equihash mining capacity to our fleet of machines." | ![]() brasso3

01/8/2020 11:05 | US dollar is weakening by the day and gold is on a massive run having broken out from its old all-time high from 2011. With governments all over the world spending money they have no hope of getting back for decades, it is imo inevitable that gold will go higher. It could treble from here! It is not obvious that crypto will follow but I would be surprised if it didn't. | ![]() horneblower

01/8/2020 08:24 | I am not sure we are even close to Crypto mania/ fomo phase yet. I do think we are on a short term trend to the $14k level. At some point there will be a large pull back in bitcoin and gold (-10%). Then the set up will be ready to go for the all time high of $19k around the end of the year. | ![]() brasso3 |
