Big pull back at 100k |
Arb are expanding into AI and are a world leader
20p soon as bicoin could reach 140k soon |
With the price of BTC approaching $100K, ARB debt at a huge discount, and the ordinary share price falling, surely holders (both of debt and equity, but especially of equity) must sell and recover what little they still can.
Something is better than nothing, and even if ARB somehow survives there will be next to nothing for the current shareholders.
That is how I read the present situation. I sold the last few of mine a while back when I could still get 12p. That said, there are still buyers. Presumably they see something to be had in ARB, but I cannot work out what. |
Hopefully the market catches up must be good for arb albeit in the short term |
100k coming - BTC |
Doesn't matter to arb any more |
He'll be saying it moonwalks through 100k ha!! |

It must be terribly said for ARB holders, seeing the party over the road and not being invited. 😘 |

robo21 - "They have fallen from £3 to pennies wiping out shareholders Investment ffs"
I couldn't agree with you more. Every time I have traded this stock I have lost money on it. However investment is also about knowing when the bottom has been reached. The environment has never been better for bitcoin with Trump in the White House and Musk the bitcoin owner one of his right hand men.

"President-elect Donald Trump continues to embrace cryptocurrency after making digital assets a key part of his campaign. Trump Media & Technology (DJT) is reportedly closing in on a deal to buy crypto trading firm Bakkt, according to reports. Meanwhile, Trump on Monday met with Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong. Bitcoin hit another record high on Tuesday." |
How on earth are Argo allowed to call themselves "a global leader" in crypto mining.....that is a Keir Starmer level of lying in your face. |
JakNife - "If you read the accounts you will find a line that says $40m bonds."
I thought I heard in the Investor Meeting the bonds are not due until December 2026? |
Looking ahead what's going to be more lucrative bitcoin or the computational power required for AI and big data this is why they are moving into HPC and so are Galaxy.
RNS 07/11/2024 - "Galaxy has today also announced a non-binding term sheet to host HPC at its Helios facility utilising the space and power currently dedicated to cryptoasset mining. The Company is considering its options for its mining fleet, which stands at 23,000 S19j Pros, hosted at the Helios facility." |
If you read the accounts you will find a line that says $40m bonds.
Those bonds trade at c. 36% of par.
36% of par indicates significant “financial distress”. |
john henry - "Debt will drive this company into administration."
What debt is this? They cleared the main secured debt with Galaxy.
RNS 11/08/2024 - "Full Repayment of $35 Million Galaxy Loan
Argo Blockchain plc, a global leader in cryptocurrency mining (LSE: ARB; NASDAQ: ARBK), is pleased to announce that it has fully repaid the remaining balance of the original loan extended by Galaxy Digital Holdings, Ltd. ("Galaxy") (TSX: GLXY) on 28 December 2022. Repayments of the $35 million loan began in May 2023. The loan balance as at June 30, 2024 was approximately $5.7 million.
This Galaxy debt was repaid over four months ahead of the current schedule, and nearly 18 months ahead of the original repayment schedule. The early repayment reflects the Company's focus on strengthening its balance sheet and reducing its financial liabilities." |
