Nico,

1) The dollar moves are irrelevant to btc direction.

2) It's excessive positioning in options that is contrarian.
It's well known that institutions and very large investors are 'herders' and so are virtually always wrong at turning points. A large excess of put options is therefore bullish for price.
A large excess of call options would be a bearish indicator for price.
Note they are only sentiment indicators.

The large IV premium on BTC has gone.Need it to increase again as this means everyone is complacent at the moment. With Btc lower and US miners dull ,we can expect weakness. A good day to top up me thinks.
