Just checked again and it's been paid. Happened before, don't remember which company. All the machinery seems to slow down during holidays plus temporary help let go when markets are quiet.

Mines not showing either. On friday I should have had two - KITW/AGFX and the former is showing but not the latter. I think it may have been a touch late last year. Tbh I don't really track them, I only really look on a monthly basis (unless someone flags it up). FWIW I'm with Halifax, who seem about average for things like these.

They are an asset manager - may be Strategic Equity Capital or one of their other funds.

It's in note 9 to the accounts.

5 LLP members were remunerated £4.2m in the 9 months to December.

I have noticed a couple of posts mentioning Argentex LLP "skimming" profits. but I can't see this in the accounts.

Can someone point me to it in the accounts, please?

What I do find is this note that Argentex LLP was bought out by the group:
From page 118 of the latest accounts:
"In June 2019, immediately prior to the Company’s admission to AIM, Argentex Group PLC acquired all equity interests in Argentex LLP. This was effected through the acquisition of equity interests by a newly formed subsidiary, Argentex Capital Limited, and the acquisition of Pacific Foreign Exchange Limited (now Argentex
Foreign Exchange Limited). Argentex LLP, Argentex Capital Limited and Argentex Foreign Exchange Limited are 100% owned (either directly or indirectly) subsidiaries of Argentex Group PLC and consolidated into these Financial Statements."

Thanks trident5 - yes he said that on the video and mentioned it was due to "rebalancing". I should have mentioned that. He did sell after reflecting on the video though which is quite telling. Anyway, just the dividend for me to receive now. I can always re-enter later if I've been overly cautious.

That's odd.
Paul Hill's portfolio exposure earlier this year was only 2% AGFX vs 20%+ EQLS.
I'd have thought he was more likely to rebalance EQLS than AGFX.

He has a video on Stockopedia (yesterday)where he says he sold out of Argentex to rebalance his portfolio.

I have no idea (nor do I care) if Paul Hill held/sold. If I did I would ask him directly and request he post here. I suggest you do the same.

Yes you have had your say so be a good chap and don’t show your spiteful side by trying to deramp to justify your decision. If you feel you can find a company that has consistent growth throughout the years (please let me know of one, just one) then move on to it.

I see Paul Hill sold out after the interview as well.

2022 £m
Q1 9.5
Q2 10.0
Q3 17.4
Q4 13.6
Total 50.5

2023
Q1 12.3
Q2 12.7
H1 25.0

You are forgetting that Q3 last year was anomalous due to the Truss mini-budget. I suspect they could be £5m down on that this year. Time will tell.

Yeah, the market is massive and they’ve been growing as fast as they dare, he seems very confident that the margins will be better too
Still very early stage in their growth path so am happy to ride out any short term turbulence,

Harry Adams says staff numbers have double over the last 2 1/2 years not over the past year, so not such a spike in staff overhead, plus not all new feet under the table.
Staff number in November were 137 and they are now 170.
H2 last year revenue was £30m, so to do £55m full year, H2 revenue would need to be flat.
To do £35m requires 16.7% revenue growth in H2 on last year which isn't unreasonable.
Cash position in December was £26.2m, equivalent to 23.1p a share.
Recent trading update should have had more detail, especially in the current economic environment.

The flip side of course is any £1 overshoot in revenue would add £1 in net profit.

When did you buy in Trident? Your posting history is almost entirely negative here.

I continue to hold most of my original holding, though not as big as it was last year.
