13/9/2023 15:19 | After today’s positive 1st half results & 'in line' FY'23 guidance - CEO Harry Adams, CFO Jo Stent & COO David Christie of #Argentex take me through the group's exciting growth trajectory. | brummy_git

13/9/2023 12:48 | Argentex Group plc posted interims for the HY ended 30th June this morning. Group revenue increased by 28% to £25.0m, operating profit increased by 16% to £5.2m while Group EBITDA margins were maintained at 29%. There was a £3m increase in net cash and an Interim dividend of 0.75p per share was announced. Valuation looks relatively attractive with forward PE ratio 9.3x top third for the IB&IS sector. Main cloud for the investment case is the lack of positive share price momentum, indeed today’s decent reporting has triggered a 10% slump suggesting that it remains too soon to buy. AGFX has plenty of growth potential and is trading at a reasonable price, but it remains a share to monitor for the time being... ...from WealthOracle | kalai1
13/9/2023 10:32 | No operational gearing - margins aren't going up with increased revenue. And not enough transparency around the LLP payments. It's not a business model that will attract a high rating. | trident5
13/9/2023 09:21 | Markdown seems a bit harsh. Decent operational progress - but its always felt a bit of a jam tomorrow outfit and that's still the case. But profitable with a healthy cash position - there are worse investments. I guess they can't force clients to trade - not like they can have a discount or sales push. | dr biotech

13/9/2023 07:31 | In the current market it would need to be posting profit growth of 30% to get above a p/e of 10. | yump

07/8/2023 11:45 | Just checked again and it's been paid. Happened before, don't remember which company. All the machinery seems to slow down during holidays plus temporary help let go when markets are quiet. | melton john
07/8/2023 11:29 | Mines not showing either. On friday I should have had two - KITW/AGFX and the former is showing but not the latter. I think it may have been a touch late last year. Tbh I don't really track them, I only really look on a monthly basis (unless someone flags it up). FWIW I'm with Halifax, who seem about average for things like these. | dr biotech
07/8/2023 10:21 | Hadn't got mine yet when I checked a while ago. | melton john

16/7/2023 10:10 | It's in note 9 to the accounts. 5 LLP members were remunerated £4.2m in the 9 months to December. | trident5
16/7/2023 06:59 | I have noticed a couple of posts mentioning Argentex LLP "skimming" profits. but I can't see this in the accounts. Can someone point me to it in the accounts, please? What I do find is this note that Argentex LLP was bought out by the group: From page 118 of the latest accounts: "In June 2019, immediately prior to the Company’s admission to AIM, Argentex Group PLC acquired all equity interests in Argentex LLP. This was effected through the acquisition of equity interests by a newly formed subsidiary, Argentex Capital Limited, and the acquisition of Pacific Foreign Exchange Limited (now Argentex Foreign Exchange Limited). Argentex LLP, Argentex Capital Limited and Argentex Foreign Exchange Limited are 100% owned (either directly or indirectly) subsidiaries of Argentex Group PLC and consolidated into these Financial Statements." | jimtech
14/7/2023 12:49 | Thanks trident5 - yes he said that on the video and mentioned it was due to "rebalancing". I should have mentioned that. He did sell after reflecting on the video though which is quite telling. Anyway, just the dividend for me to receive now. I can always re-enter later if I've been overly cautious. | topvest
14/7/2023 11:02 | That's odd. Paul Hill's portfolio exposure earlier this year was only 2% AGFX vs 20%+ EQLS. I'd have thought he was more likely to rebalance EQLS than AGFX. | eagle eye |
