wouldn't be surprised to see this taken over shortly by one of the big software houses..

The contract wins increase Arcontech's market share and strengthen its presence in the Nordic, North American and Asia Pacific regions where it is working with other banks and partners.

Still Waiting - totally agree. When you consider that since January, the company has now announced orders of circa £2m, that is some going to say we are only 4 months into the calender year!

A reminder of the cash position and outlook from the interim results:

As at 31 December 2011 the Group had net cash balances of £1,252,693 (31 December 2010: £972,455). The increase in cash and creditors is due to higher deferred revenue as customers have shown their faith in the business by paying annual fees in advance. Although we expect this cash balance to decrease by the year-end, the extent of which will depend upon the level and timing of new sales wins and consequently the date of deployment, we believe, based upon our present level of sales prospects and opportunities, that the Group has sufficient financial resources to see it through to profitability.

With the contract wins announced today, and the real prospect of more to come in the short term, we should be looking at positive cash flow in this trading year, and a profit next year. With the cash position and NA's of £1.89m versus a mkt cap of £1.91m, this share is very much undervalued. All IMHO of course.

Plenty of buys going through at just under the 0.12p, but showing as sells. By my reckoning, of the trades so far today, there has only been one sell!!

I don't think so. Just read through the last few RNS's. All of the signs are there, plus the statement within the RNS this morning:

"The contract wins increase Arcontech's market share and strengthen its presence in the Nordic, North American and Asia Pacific regions where it is working with other banks and partners."

In my view, if you wait for further confirmation, you will miss out on the opportunity to buy at the current levels.

Actually, most of the 'so called' sells are actually buys. Not sure where we will end up today, but I do believe this could well be the start of the recovery in the share price.

Just finished my usual trawl through the internet and I see Arcontec are sponsors and speakers at two trade events over the course of the next few weeks. Hopefully, the website will be updated accordingly!

napoloen 14th- you're right...this share is not for the feint hearted. However, I do believe we will see good news shortly - as indicated in the last results. I continue to add on the dips, and am hopeful my patience will be rewarded.

Been here since 2007 myself with some 90% loss to make up! Same "vintage" as PLUS Mkt..
Never added any, tho'.
If they recover, all well & good,& if they don't
(they even got +ive cover from Michael Walters!)
then sod'em!

Looks like the MM's are trying to walk the price down....contract news must be imminent! Just added another one million..it would be rude not to at this price.

Given the positive RNS yesterday, they must have another contract up their sleeve.

weelshgit - I know how you feel, but as I have pointed out in previous posts, we may be on to a winner with the CityVision product. We know the company is expecting to announce several contract wins before June, and in my mind, you don't appoint new directors unless there is growth in the business. The RNS specifically talks about the growth prospects.

Arcontech Ltd Board Appointments Strengthen Growth

Arcontech Ltd, key trading subsidiary of Arcontech Group PLC and a leading vendor independent provider of sell-side alternative market data contributions and distribution technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of two additional directors, adding talent and experience to the existing Board membership. The appointments recognise the long service and dedication of existing key staff members.

Sarah Wisbey, who has been with Arcontech since 1992, becomes Administrative Director, responsible for overall office operations, including human resource and facilities as well as procurement and expense management. Sarah will work closely with Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Miller and other key staff on strategic and tactical planning for the Group.

Darren Lewis, who joined Arcontech in 1999, is appointed Director of CityVision Development, with remit to drive forward product development and technical strategy.

Andrew Miller commented: "Both Sarah and Darren have contributed greatly to the development of Arcontech. Sarah continues to provide excellent support in her varied roles while Darren has been instrumental in formulation and execution of CityVision product direction. I welcome them to the Board and look forward to their continued help and support."

Founding directors of Arcontech Ltd Stephen Prout and Andrew Weber remain on the Board, together with Michael Levy (Finance), providing continuity and great depth of experience. Recruitment of additional staff is underway to provide increased resource for company expansion.

No...not in auction, just a very tight spread. However, the bid price has actually gone up whilst the mid price has gone down!

Maybe we will see a contract win next week....I must get it right one of these times!!

Looks like we had a little 'tree shake' over the past couple of trading days, but appear to be back on track now.

The next contract win should be a game changer here, as it should also re-affirm the positive cash flow and sufficient resources to see the company through to profitability.

Could be wrong, but I do think we should hear something this month!

Well...contract news must be due soon...the price dropped last night on a £800 sale. I don't mind, as I managed to pick up some cheap shares this morning!
