08/4/2011 10:18 | Takes very little money to move the share price, Buying is very easy but should you wish to sell you have a problem, liquidity is improving slowly, but can't help thinking that the MMs have a glut of shares to move, once that is clear, and ARC start delivering what the recent RNSs are suggesting, middle 2s+ is more than possible. Until then it is back to the waiting game.. | george57

07/4/2011 15:47 | Steelwatch, It is good sport now and again, what is your take on the RNS of 21/3/11? It looks pretty good to me. Arcontech's Excelerator Gains New Clients Following the release of the latest version in January, Arcontech is pleased to announce contracts with a number of new clients for its CityVision "Excelerator" add-in for real-time market data functionality within Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. The clients range in size and function from a smaller UK hedge fund to the US based broker-dealer operation of a large international bank. | george57
07/4/2011 15:47 | and now what happened? | moreforus
07/4/2011 15:41 | Good sport now and again. Still waiting for meaningful developments. Outlook It should not be underestimated the amount of management time and energy that has needed to be dedicated to dealing with the cessation of the MarketTerminal business and its ultimate sale. As a result it has not been possible to apply sufficient resources (mainly management time) to realising the many opportunities presented by the Arcontech business. This has now been rectified and already we are seeing notable increase in sales prospects and opportunities, some of which we are hopeful will result in orders in the near future. The general level of uncertainty in the UK financial markets means the precise timing of such orders is even more difficult to predict. We view the future with renewed optimism and believe we have created a stronger platform for growth. Richard Last Chairman 27 November 2008 Still waiting... | steelwatch
07/4/2011 15:32 | Jeez can buy 13m, yet sell only 25k. | davidcod
07/4/2011 15:28 | Hmm, You can now buy at 0.133p.. can't sell any should you wish to. I might buy some more and see what happens in the next month or so. | george57
07/4/2011 14:18 | I feel your pain sjc, I have been clearing out a lot of deadwood recently and it hurts. However, I don't think anyone could argue that the recent RNSs from ARC have been very upbeat, and are certainly promising good things to come. M4US, Pure guess about the 37m would be last of an overhang cleared, there have been other large sales recently. | george57 |
