Posted at 06/3/2025 18:24 by tim000 I assume Bart Turtelboom was closely associated with USAID and the Democrats. Whatever happens to US overseas aid spending this year, I can’t see any contracts being rubber-stamped by DOGE that allows profiteering on the scale envisaged by APQ’s forecasts. Republicans regard these kinds of deals as money laundering. There are numerous examples being publicized by Elon Musk and others. I’m afraid the CULS holders are in trouble. And the share price is prophetic. |
Posted at 07/2/2025 14:18 by davebowler APQ Global Ltd (LON: APQ) says the US government’s slashing of international aid and foreign assistance has created a tough environment for its investee companies. Cash flow generation and refinancing debt should enable APQ Global to repay convertible loan holders by the end of March, but it is more uncertain than previously. The outstanding principle is £26.1m. Delphos is the main investment and two-thirds of its transaction advisory contracts have been cancelled, and they were worth $5m. The others are also likely to be cancelled. Cash inflows over December and January were expected to be $18.9m, but they were $1.1m. The estimate for February has been downgraded from $16.5m to $14.5m, although the March estimate has been raised from $4.3m to $11.1m. That still means a reduction $12m over the period. APQ Global had $3.2m in cash at the end of January. The share price dived 69.2% to 2p. |
Posted at 03/12/2024 15:46 by tim000 I’ll be happy to join you as a shareholder once there is evidence of Delphos delivering. Good luck with your investment, hope APQ succeeds. |
Posted at 03/12/2024 15:41 by roughandtumbleone TimNo issues whatsoever.I have my belief and investment and if it goes wrong, I only have myself and APQ to blame. If it goes as I suspect, as Delphos ,with a little research will dispel your fears. You don't believe in APQ and that's your prerogative. One of us will be right and given I have a substantial amount invested, I'll patiently wait. Thanks |
Posted at 03/12/2024 09:58 by tim000 You do realise that APQ has almost no cash and liquid assets to repay the impending CULS? Its forecast of imminent cash windfalls from Delphos has proven to be wrong to date. Delphos has never produced the current forecast of profits since it was acquired. The CULS are trading at a substantial discount to par. It’s not at all clear how the CULS will be repaid. The equity is a gamble, admittedly with a lot of upside if the gamble pays off. |
Posted at 01/12/2024 15:56 by roughandtumbleone What I don't think people have grasped is this:- the current NAV is just under 20m USD and this includes the liabilities of 26m CULs after the initial repayment. At the end of February, the liabilities will then sit at zero and the NAV increase to 45m USD. They've the. Predicted inflow cash of a further 73m over the next 18 months so clearly with no liabilities and that level of inflow, dividends are also likely to be restored. So for me I've waited for the suspension to be lifted but even a further 4 months will see a significant uplift in value and given they currently have cash at almost the same Market value of APQ. 78m shares in circulation... patience is definitely going to pay here. |
Posted at 30/9/2024 16:37 by roughandtumbleone If you read the document on the APQ website you'll also see the investments that APQ have. They have significant holdings in HSBC and many decent investments of over £25m The cash generation is significant and as you say I can't see any justification why APQ would be valued at less than 5m.Serious re rate likely to happen - surprised they didn't announce recommencent of trading and a date to start again. |
Posted at 09/9/2024 17:53 by bedbel If I do a simple calculation and let the incoming cashflow until end March 2025 pay for the CULS redemption. Then we have at that time a NAV of 35 mln USD or 33 p/s. But with the incoming cashflow of 73 mln USD up to September 2026 there sure must be a revaluation of the Delphos investment. Even without that we'll get a NAV in 2026 over 100 p/s. So I also think that the share price will rise to at least 40 or 50 p in a not so distant future. |
Posted at 09/9/2024 16:12 by roughandtumbleone Todays book value at asset value alone is 300% higher than the closing price of the current share price Coupled with the expected cash flow of 115m from now until Sept 25 ... I sense once they announce the extension and repayment of the CULs this stock is t going to stay in single figures and more likely be in the pounds |
Posted at 14/6/2024 17:53 by roughandtumbleone So here's a little research into APQ Global and is on the back of a Zoom call with Bart himself.Delphos is 100% owned by APQ Global and the 3rd party audit that's underway is valuing Delphos and the two other 100% owned subsidiaries of APQ at multiple times the current share price The NAV has already risen significantly in April the belief it'll jump again much higher than 28m GBP. As it currently stands the Market Cap is under 5m and yet they have 14m cash and as reported, a significant amount pending. Delphos is growing exponentially the the repayment of the September CULs is easily addressable according to Bart and considering his background I can see APQ being renamed Delphos as they have a global reach in emerging markets and their successes have been incredible. He agreed the link between APQ and Delphos needs to be better explained and the APQ website linked to Delphos as it's simply the same entity.People will cough and splutter, but it's my contention that APQ is going to see a serious re rate and the fact with just 77m shares in circulation and two holders owning 28 percent each, the free float is tiny.I believe the 3rd party auditor will value Delphos NAV at over 50m GBP and when you consider the two other 100% owned entities seeing this trading at 1 GBP isn't a stretch too far.Cornerstone went from 6p to over 40p... I believe APQ and Delphos is going to be trading much higher very soon. 2023 accounts due this month and the audit and valuation expected shortly.Thank me another time !! Sent from my iPhone |
