25/5/2007 09:05 | sranmal, Yes we were saying "Weren't we saying the same last year?" last year. Your other comments were fine. But then the above is very true. Can't be right all the time, can we? | greatfull dead
25/5/2007 08:59 | GD, so do I, very positive! Didn't my comments come across that way? | sranmal
25/5/2007 08:57 | sranmal, I personally think the RNS is very positive. | greatfull dead
25/5/2007 08:51 | AGM statement - looks like they're going to dump their under-performing Indonesian assets (about time too IMO), and get some more prospective stuff in via their relationship with RAK. With a floor of ~3,700 bopd net production from AZA and a MC of £77M (and now £40M cash, although more shares in issue so MC higher?!?!), the share price can only go up this year? Weren't we saying the same last year? :-( | sranmal
24/5/2007 11:23 | Just checking on recent AZA releases, and it appears that BMG will be constrained at 14,000 bopd due to significantly greater G/O ratio than originally envisaged. Still, that equals ~3,700 bopd for AEL, something I can live with for a £77M MC company! AZA share price still well off it's high though, prob due to constrained BMG production. | sranmal
24/5/2007 09:28 | News has been a long time coming .......... but it must come. RAK P have done well elsewhere. If they offered the same shareprice they paid for their small stake, they could probably buy the whole company now. I might send an email to KKR and CVC ;-) ........... for someone with a little imagination there must be a few bob to be made at AEL. | ed 123
24/5/2007 08:51 | yep agree with you about the old short poss' but now could be a different kettle of fish, was boring here and just bringing to light a small poss' that i then posted a few mins after saying"maybe not" still would love a bit of news on AEL/RAK | markfrankie
24/5/2007 07:49 | aza on the move again | ntv
22/5/2007 07:58 | panr =maybe not? (sorry for the off topic) boring | markfrankie
22/5/2007 07:55 | panr might look interesting today? roll on ael's very interesting times ahead fingersx | markfrankie
16/5/2007 10:09 | EVO holding bid at 80p - seem keen to accumulate stock - got a buyer waiting? | ed 123
15/5/2007 12:04 | Beach also state they're injecting gas at a rate of 5,200 boepd which suggests they've upped oil production to over 15,000 bopd. imho dyor | bomfin
15/5/2007 11:10 | Yes, AZA continues its recovery and, as you imply, presumably due to Basker. Yesterday, I was pleased to see the market absorb a 100,000 AEL shares sale at the best bid price and no share price markdown followed. AZA agm on 22 May and AEL agm on 25 May - hoping for encouraging comments. | ed 123
15/5/2007 10:33 | Beach very bullish on size of Basker field. + Higher than expected GOR (~2,000 actual vs 1,200 expected) probably due to wells located higher on a much larger structure. Operational issues, primarily with compression facilities have largely been addressed. Conditional Gas Sales Agreement with Alinta executed Possible 200 million boe field. imho dyor | bomfin
15/5/2007 08:03 | aza still creeping up | ntv
11/5/2007 21:51 | you forgot about debt etc etc | ntv
11/5/2007 17:20 | Another good day. Maybe AEL are geting noticed finally. | greatfull dead
11/5/2007 17:11 | Thanks sranmal, I have now edited my post and amended accordingly. | smudgeroo
11/5/2007 16:35 | AEL have a 17% in NXS No. AZA have the direct stake in NXS, and the last AZA presentation showed it was now about 15%. | sranmal
11/5/2007 13:09 | I've been in her for so long I can't remember but my first buy was at 114. These days, I hardly ever even look. At least my top-up at 78 has it's nose above water. Fingers crossed we'll do something before the end of this decade... | cleo1601
11/5/2007 10:23 | Nice ........ very nice :-) More to come methinks. | ed 123 |
