Pretty quiet on this board for a company that is expecting to be wound up today at teh EGM. We have been discussing the chances of EOG making a last ditch bid for AEY over on the EOG board. My guess is that a one for one share offer would see a combined share price in excess of 5p and a very exciting company to go forward with cash in the bank and multi bagger potential off Ireland as well as great prospects onshore UK.

Could make what happened with SOU after you guys refused their offer look like peanuts....

We'll know tomorrow I guess

Not long to go for around 3p. May as well let them get on with it, rather than sell to the market. Can't see anything unforseen suddenly happening, unless a higher bid comes?

easy money coz stupid mm's think risk involved

accounts today show books are good to go and no risk bar currency

it just process of votin thru and switchin off lights now.

Very true seangwhite this company has been his personal bank for some years with the help of hedgehog they have made hundreds of millions of dollars vanish.

The forecast return of $7,150,000 equates to 2.9p at current exchange rates so won't be selling at 2.3p, delisting or not!

Message from my broker today - Delists close of business on the 8th Sept - if the liquidation proposal signed off on 30th August.
Option to sell up to then in the market or see what the liquidation brings post the 8th.
