09/11/2017 22:21 | When Potter is involved in anything (just the mere mention of his name) things either do not proceed or do so at a remarkably leisurely pace. I must say the TCC ought by now to have been completed, perhaps it has, and Potter simply does not care one jot. If anyone has tried to contact this ghastly chap, you will find he will not respond - he had the audacity to tell me the Sound deal was not a good one for holders hence he refused to recommend it. | yasx
08/11/2017 09:52 | Hi all Yes, I'm also being pestered by Barclays to take these off their hands. I've told them I hold them responsible for claiming and processing the liquidation proceeds when they become available. | plummer
24/10/2017 22:16 | Hi Everyone Just found this thread after giving up hope that any moola would be forthcoming from Antrim. Hold accts in Barclays and am getting the same guff from them as others....eg we cant be bothered holding these for you etc. Does anyone know if there's a real chance of a return on these dogs. After all Greer had quite a few and must want to cash in too....Thanks for any info... | alexkevin
23/10/2017 23:09 | Hop53, Potter has a way of dragging things out to the detriment of others - one might say this particular issue is outside his sphere of control, but everything that chap is involved with turns sour. He really made a mess of AEY, and deliberately refuted the SOU deal when it was clearly in the interests of holders. Quite why none of the majority holders booted him out is a mystery... I think you will be fortunate to see the proceeds from the dissolution this year - more than likely early next, but, you never know.... | yasx
20/10/2017 10:29 | I'm in the same boat as Thaaarg - have a holding of Antrim with Barclays and they keep pestering me to transfer it out. None of the other brokers I've tried will accept the shares though. Anyone else had any success? Was hoping liquidation payment would have been made by now.... | hop53ton
03/10/2017 10:49 | With dissolution having occurred in late april, CRA tax clearance should have been completed by late august, presumably we are now waiting for the regional tax certificate. This is an extract from a CRA Q&A meeting with professionals from 2014. 6. Clearance Certificates Q. What are the current wait times for issuance of the Clearance Certificates? CRA Response: The service standard for Clearance Certificates (CC) is to address 80% of CC requests within 120 days. If there are audit issues, the processing of the Clearance Certificate may take more than 120 days. Audit issues may require more time as those situations depend on the cooperation of the taxpayers and their representatives and on the complexity of the issue, which may result in the involvement of other CRA program areas. hxxp://www.cpaalbert | flyfisher

11/9/2017 09:52 | Sent from HL today ..All a bit numptyish but at least they were quick to put their hands up The recent secure message sent regarding the dissolving of the Antrim Energy Inc Shares stated there would be no returns to Shareholders when in fact there will be a payment made to Shareholders. A new secure message will be sent to you shortly regarding the proceeds that will be received from the dissolving of the stock. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. I trust this to be in order. Should you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact us. | ohisay
09/9/2017 03:45 | Can't think its much to worry about as old news.HL could have done a better job in describing the position though.I've sent them a message quoting this RNS CALGARY, ALBERTA (April 26, 2017) - Antrim Energy Inc. ("Antrim" or the "Company"), announces that the Company has been formally dissolved effective today. The Company filed its Articles of Dissolution, and a Certificate of Dissolution was issued on April 26, 2017, pursuant to the voluntary dissolution procedures under the Business Corporations Act (Alberta). The Company's remaining funds will be distributed (the "Distribution") to those persons who were shareholders of the Company at the date of dissolution (the “Shareholders& This final distribution toShareholders will be made through the Company's transfer agent, CST Trust Company, at such time as the Company receives a final Tax Clearance Certificate from the Canada Revenue Agency and from Alberta Tax and Revenue Administration. The estimated amount of the Distribution is $0.055 CDN per Common Share(1) (an increase from the Company's previous estimate of $0.050 CDN per Common Share) reflecting positive results from the sale of Antrim’s Ireland subsidiary and settlement of the Company’s obligations. It is not possible to predict when the tax clearance certificates will be obtained as their receipt is outside of the control of the Company. The Company has appointed 2015960 Alberta Ltd. as administrative agent to co-ordinate effecting the Distribution with CST Trust Company. | ohisay
08/9/2017 14:23 | Had the same from HL. | deans
08/9/2017 12:43 | I am going to ask HL to pursue the matter with the Canadian transfer agent to find out the true position. It would be helpful if you do the same. If more people do this, they are more likely to take note and do something. | langland
08/9/2017 12:37 | I suppose that means more waiting.. | fardels bear
08/9/2017 12:36 | Same here. They refer to April as the date for dissolution. I guess it's old news? | librag
08/9/2017 12:30 | If this was from Hargreaves, I have had the same. However, I do not know how valid this is. It may be just some sort of automated notification. Looks like we will have to get in touch with the company's transfer agent. | langland
08/9/2017 12:17 | Nasty piece of news today on this.. from my broker. We have been notified that Antrim Energy Inc was dissolved on 26 April 2017. Following this, the Company’s Shares have now been cancelled and no returns will be made to Shareholders. | fardels bear
23/8/2017 05:17 | just read the thread - its with the cannuck irs -but should be through by year end if not Q3 and as hp says cad keeps being strong. | ohisay
23/8/2017 03:21 | why can' we get our money- this is ridiculous - what is taking so much time... | utrecht_00
22/8/2017 21:31 | This is really dragging on but the good news is the CAD keeps strengthening. 5.5 cents CAD now worth over 3.4p. | hugepants
28/7/2017 11:32 | Anyone else had a letter from Barclays Stockbrokers telling you that you can no longer hold Antrim in their new Smart Investor ISA / Investment accounts? The only option being given is to transfer to another provider. So what are you meant to do if you don't have another provider? All too difficult for precious Barclays, charging extra for their 'new' accounts and providing a reduced service! | thaaarg |
