I thought they might extend given that they hadn't made an offer by now. Just realised Gneiss are financial advisors to Sound. That's a bit weird given our history with them. Definitely something going on in the background here.

Sound are clearly anything but keen! They’ve been looking at this since December and in the data room since mid-January. How long do they need?

Yes, 1347, another can-kick. Anguish made all they’re likely to make from this bit of legerdemain in the placing. I doubt they’ll get another bite at that cherry.. So, what do we think they’ll choose for the next ramp? Maybe they’ll dream up another “interested party” before the inevitable placing?

Yes JT, all contrived I expect, can kicking is the only thing this lot are any good at.

Another extension. Sound appear keen. Are the board keeping that option open to allow and encourage others to prepare an offer? Interesting to see how next week develops. Unfortunately this RNS will also allow detractors to draw ever larger inaccurate conclusions. It is an unfortunate consequence although I am sure they are now completely ignored, they seem to only talk to each other.

What nonsense - another month’s extension to the Sound “bid”.

HITS: the small investors in this are not going to accept a bid that offers them less than a 40-50% premium, in my opinion, and Sound can’t afford it. They’ve got nowhere near enough cash, large borrowings and prospects of their own, and Anguish as a cash flow source is hardly proven, is it? And Sound won’t offer shares sufficient to give Anguish shareholders control over the combined entity. It’s not going to happen, unless Anguish state that they’re not in a position to finish Poundland in time, in my opinion, and that’s unlikely to happen at this stage, surely?

I was a bit optimistic yesterday about the welding rate. They’ve been at it for at least 6 weeks. And done 15% of the welds. At this rate, they’ll have 30% completed by 22 April, 45% by 3 June, 60% by 15 July.

If Gneiss Energy put that 3% they declared this morning into the hat with the

G.P (Jersey) Limited/Lang Family 12.08%
Sebastian Marr 3.76%
C AND N Roberts share that's about 20%....perhaps we shouldn't discount Sound after all? Perhaps Jaspal has joined the club as well?

HITS: yes, Gneiss must have had a pretty good case, what? Board inexperience/incompetence for which the shareholders are paying. Mug punters don’t seem to realise the effect of dilution, probably because so few of the companies they favour ever make it to paying dividends. Gneiss is currently advising Sound. I don’t suppose that had anything to do with anything.

Project has been mismanaged to a degree. Deadlines have slipped, costs have gone up - this often happens with big complex engineering projects.

But, each day is a day closer to first gas. With prices sky high and a war on our doorstep it'd a good time to get production going

3Put: yes, and it’s funny how often I’ve been right. Not always to the day or week, admittedly, but often to within two weeks, as I expect here. You may start your stopwatch.
