JA51: following the Interim MD’s deplorable fit of the vapours over the issue, he came up with 5-6 weeks for the sidetrack, of which 20 days was for drilling. Though he hedged it round with provisos, so it could take much longer. The misleading AECOM information was, he said, what all drillers do - over-estimate the time to be taken.

He also said the sidetrack will start “a few weeks after” a steady rate of gas flow has been achieved. He said it was “feasible̶1; to drill a sidetrack while piping gas from a nearby well but but that this would require a lot more work on their part to find out. There’s been no update on the sidetrack, apart from the delay, since then (last October). They were still missing an indispensable part of the drilling rig when we last heard.

So, the final bits of kit for Poundland itself are due at the end of April. Assume two weeks to get them installed and everything ready for NG and HSE inspection. Allow a month for their approvals. That’s mid-June. Then a week or so(?) to regulate the gas flow to the required pressure. That’s the third of fourth week in June. So the sidetrack at end-June or early July. It may come down to the debt payment schedule, which will be in the Facilities Agreement - to which we don’t have access, though the six firms in the data room do.

You are joking, right?......16 weeks according to their AECOM planning application.....But it gets better... they threw a tizzy fit on the Q&A claiming this was False information....only to have it pointed out to them it came from their own application information!!

Gaffer: this will be my final post on the subject, for now at least. They started work six weeks ago on the welding. It was supposed to take eight weeks or so, working continuously, starting in early January and finishing at the end of February (30 November 2021 update). I’m assuming that that is what’s happened, though four weeks later than scheduled, but was surprised to see in the 10 March RNS that the pipework was just 15% complete. The wording is ambiguous, as so often with the author. What do you think it means?

Gaffer I have the oddities JTisbadly and 1347 filtered, judging by your increasing frustration trying to correct these ignorami I suggest you do the same. Their objectives and agendas are completely negative. Both are despicable and repugnant.

So now you are saying they've been welding constantly for the last six weeks but a couple of weeks ago you were convinced work had "ground to a holt". Which is it?

Well, if the pipe racks are all in place, yet only 15% of the pipework has been completed, what does that mean for the welding?

They can't install the pipelines without the pipe racks. The foundations for the pipe racks were only done in February. Given that we now have pictures of the pipelines complete on the pipe racks it can't have taken 8 weeks for the main runs. They may have been fabricating the off takes earlier but it isn't going to take another 40 weeks to complete the pipework as JT is eluding too.

Gaffer: JA51 is right. There are Twitter photos released in late January of the welding taking place and there’s a lot of it to do. There’s also chat about it on this site in January. I think it’s been going on steadily since then. The RNS was ambiguous, as so often with statements by the Cambridge English graduate running this. If he was referring to the welding being 15% done, then they’re either going to have to do something or they’re in trouble with the deadlines. People now appear to understand the issue with the hedges, but there’s £4.5mm, possibly more, to find to cover the Debenture interest and capital repayments, either in May or June, or so it seems. The Interim MD hasn’t seen fit to inform us of the payment schedule. Someone who owns shares in it should ask him. The many participants in the data room probably know. They have you at a disadvantage.

Just to confirm they have been welding from the end of Jan as can be confirmed by the Twitter pictures on 10th and 23rd Feb!..... It's about 6 KM they have to do from my rough calcs!

Gaffer, like me , you are a shareholder. Why engage with these detractors that are not even shareholders? Every sensible accurate reply you post will be contorted and disregarded. The fact that they also post disparagingly at the weekend, here and under other profiles on LSE , only signals their deciteful objectives. Repulsive the lot of them.

gaffer we know they started welding the pipes at the end of January. If i recall one of the schedules gave a month and a half welding program. it should be nearly finished by now but they are only 15% done!!
