(IN)Sincerio...

The question has already been asked and answered by Lucan (or did you not know?). He gave the "usual" vague response...

FACT IS: He hasn't yet dipped into his own pocket... and the only directors who did, probably invested less between them than many private investors here.

It hardly inspires investor confidence now does it?

"Do what I say - NOT WHAT I DO" - seems to be the lesson Lucan is promoting here?

CQ ;-)

yawn.... the resident grey old halfwit window lickers keep banging on about lack of director buys . why don't they just ask on the angus investor questions website ? at least 2 uclot & 13reallyneedsahobby47 both claim to be shareholders... therefore why not ask the question ? so simple or are they not shareholders as they claim and just being mendacious?

It was in the September 2020 conference call. Available on the Angus website. Stated they had been in discussions with a well-known high street bank since March.

Lucant will know the end game here is not to deliver value to the average shareholder and further dilution will be forthcoming, ergo he won't want to put his own hand in his rouser trouser and even if he did in the future it would be a sop.

JT BTW Can you remind me where and when exactly Lucan stated he'd been discussing $20 m of debt funding with banks, can you reference the source please?

I do wonder why George Lucan hasn't bought into his own hype?

Surprised he hasn't mortgaged his mansion on the promise of PoundLand alone...

unless.... does he know something we don't?

Thin volume today again...

No takers evidently buying into the current company cheerleader spin...

and the cheerleaders themselves spouting "adding here" "topping up" "diamond hands" don't count as 99% of them are "embarrassingly" fake IMHO.

It's going to take GENUINE investors to get this moving and to do that, George is going to have to change a lifetime habit and make some GENUINE progress FIRST.

Now that will be something worth seeing!

JT,

George Horatio 1st is now at his wheel and has been for most of the morning (so far) since I changed the running order of things to better establish his preference.

Overnight we allocated his wheel to PoundLand... his food bowl to Oil assets/liabilities... and his water trough to Geothermal. Unless he drunk a lot overnight... I cannot understand it, as he has gone nowhere near his water since 7.am so far!?!?

He seems to have a natural aversion to Geothermal - even after my younger daughter thoughtfully put a rainbow sticker on the side of it to attract his attention?

Puzzling...

hits - i agree an influx of new id's do arrive ..but not all are disingenuous , some will be new shareholders excited and hopeful of a share price rise ... i would hope they buy on their own research ...as any basic trawl through regular posters preposterous contributions ( negative and positive) would be obvious to avoid paying any attention or credit.

interesting use of term "consistently negative/realistic" that's exactly as i see it ...

Sincero, the difference lies in consistency of both opinion and presence.

You'll (naturally) be aware of the consistent presence of those of a consistently negative/realistic (delete as you see fit) mindset, both here and next door.

This is not what we see on the cheerleading side of things on stocks such as ANGS, UKOG and I am sure many others. Yes, there are those who are consistently present and consistently more positive in their outlook (eg Yanis, JamesTheSecond, yourself, even Ocelot) - and that's all good and fair enough.

But every so often you'll get a marked influx of brand new IDs posting incredibly voluminously and invariably positively all of a sudden, just as we do now. Classic example - I believe you said you hold UKOG? Well, just look at their bulletin board activity and all those brand-new (and now of course long gone) IDs posting ramptastic idiocy from say June 18th to June 30th...

That's a notable difference.

"Long-term ANGS watchers have seen this many times before and if anything, it damages whatever credibility the company has."

Zero times anything is still zero, which is how much credibility they have in my opinion.

CQ: the octopus did have a pretty convincing track record though, what? An accumulator bet on his eight or so consecutive winning predictions would have resulted in a many thousand-bagger, to borrow the AIM argot. I think he should, if still extant, have commanded a premium for his services over what is being paid to the current incumbent.

Is Horatio George still at the trough?

I don’t think His Lordship or the (non-Board) Business Development Director would be so ill-advised as to invest in this. The latter may still own quite a lot in any case. That “non-BoardR21; title must rankle a bit, what?

JT,

I guess it could be director buys?

Maybe Lucan and Tidswell have finally been spurred into action for fear of losing their posts (and generous salaries) to a hamster and a dead octopus?

Yes, HITS, I think you’re right. Very silly of them, but then they ought to be selling large quantities of gas at hugely inflated prices now, shouldn’t they? Their failure to meet their timetable, of gas flowing by September 2020, is even sillier than this bs storm. Is it nature or nurture? Perhaps the shareholders should pay for a huge exercise wheel for them, hamsters seem to find them beneficial.

Sincero, we'll have to agree to differ then. All of a sudden next door, there's a marked increase in the numbers of resurrected/clone IDs very obviously expressing a less than genuine opinion, plus a very determined attempt over here to control the narrative and drown out less than positive views via endless copy n paste. I am beyond sure that this is a concerted and organised effort, regardless of motive.

Long-term ANGS watchers have seen this many times before and if anything, it damages whatever credibility the company has.

CQ: the Lenders have (or had) a fair number of shares and there’s another two or three large holders. This ramp could merely be to get one or more of them out, in one or two cases at breakeven or a small profit.
