The wall will go in good time.

CPO holding up very well. We will see substantial increase in divi.

400 acting like a brick wall, strange price action on this one.

What do the chartists think if we get the famous breakout? First stop 480p before powering to 600p?

'my boss bought some UK farmland late last year at about £7,000 an acre'

I've heard that UK farmland has been in a steady rise for at least 10 years, that it did not waver at all during the . com collapse and more importantly shrugged off the great crash of 2008-09. The market message is clear, the £ is trash and food producing land is king.

Hiya Boy,

Hope you do well with your holding.

Financial Highlights
* Revenue of $57.4m (H1 2008: $100.2m)
* Operating profit for the period was $23.5m ( H1 2008: $43.8m)
* Profit before tax decreased to $24m from $44.4m in the first half of 2008
* Basic earnings per share were 35.6cts (H1 2008: 61.6cts)
* Net cash at 30 June 2009 was $24.6m compared with $33.8m at the year end and
$35.7m at 30 June 2008

I expect full year profits of at least USD 50 mill and earning per share of
52p.

There is a lot more to come here as its very cash generative. I look forward to a boost to the DIVI.

Just added this to my SIPP. Can't see why AEP is not trading at £12/share. A forward P/E of 4 with masses and masses of potential (new mill coming on stream, 10,000s of hectares available for development, $25m cash!). I thought FFY was cheap (I'm not a holder), but this is ridiculous. Please tell me if I've missed something.

A anecdotal but relevant: my boss bought some UK farmland late last year at about £7,000 an acre (if you exclude the house), I'm paying under £500 for each acre of AEP. If that's not a bargain I don't know what is!

What are our chances of a trading update / news on the new mill opening?

I am looking to add today as well.

Very low P/E here. The fundamentals are just beautiful for a very nice ride up.

notanewone .

Your observation is spot on . I am still buying on dips and this is very cheap.

If CPO hold at current levels and production keeps on increasing as it will do
we are looking at P.E of 5.

Hopefully we will get a nice divi boost .

Technically this is an ascending triangle starting from April 09, and we'll bump along for a while until the formation completes. Short term price target will begin with a number 5 sometime in 2010.
