Some weighty buying today.
I guess time is running out to get in at these sort of prices.
Either through the daily grind of the ore on site, at higher rates than ever before, with margins we've not seen in years or through the hopes for further properties to be added to the portfolio this will move higher and higher over the next year or two.

well, certainly looks like this 10 week downtrend has now completed. as Terropol says, assuming all the plant is working correctly now, we should be seeing some record monthly production figures shortly

POG & earnings are in US$ but the share price is in GBP.
£ is at a 30 year low to the USD and falling

Went down last month before production figures and they were not as good as hoped, probably going up this month for opposite reason imho

A ha'penny?! Is that anything like a groat? :-)Personally I think that Mr Market looks forward, and AAZ should be closer to 30p at the moment. Perhaps if the upcoming figures are good that will provide the catalyst?

IF, they were awarded the right to operate Chovdar on a toll basis with the benefits of the toll being used to reduce the PSA from Existing assets, that would seem like a win-win arrangement for all parties and an arrangement that should readily receive the necessary governmental agreement.It's not as if there are a whole load of other gold miners in the country on PSA's who would object ... AAZ are unique and so there are no other existing arrangements to prevent such a development.There would seem to be plenty of ways a deal could be done .... it's more about 'cleaning up' the situation beforehand I think.

I'm working on a base line of seeing the debt reduce by $1m / month now. On current exchange rates of £1:$1.3, Call it £750k per month.At that rate of debt repayment, the share price should be increasing by minimum of a ha'penny every month, rising as the overall interest payable also comes down.Might not seem that exciting but, it's a 37% growth rate in the share price per year!Next year, with the economies of the electrical supply & the water processing, that rate of debt repayment should further accelerate.Anything else in terms of new assets, discovery of new resources, increase in price of gold is as yet unknown but, could have a significantly greater impact on mkt cap.Hold & buy on any weakness, would seem a sensible stance to me.

I think AAZ is off most people's radar, which is fine by me. It must be making lots of money over the costs of getting it out of the ground with pog over $1300 and if it gets to $1400 this year, even better!

Lets hope they can get near 19,000oz for Q3 in 2 weeks time. I think 18,000oz is probably realistic if September was a decent month. With an average gold price of $1320 and production costs at $546 the production profits should look very good.

Revenue - 18,000 x 0.87 x $1320 = $20.6m

Profit - 18,000 x 0.87 x ($1320 - $546) = $12.1m

Should see them pay another $5m - $6m off the debt for quarter.

Sorry jbe81 but POG appears to be moving in the opposite direction again. At least we moved up a bit today. Hopefully not too long to wait for the drilling results !
