01/7/2022 12:31 | Pogue, I sympathise with you. I have mentioned to you that small Bio. Tech sector is out of favour these days !! Have you not noticed how many small Bio Tech have taken a hit these days !! I think it was RB or Bumpa that also mentioned that too !! | bwana4
01/7/2022 12:28 | ORPH has significantly underdelivered on the spin-offs and the valuations will have diminished substantially as the markets have fallen during the delay. Questionable whether the data has value if no material contracts announced after all this time. | chrysalis99
01/7/2022 12:21 | I am keeping a close eye on IGAS at the moment. It is supposed to be debit free at the end of next year. The Gov. has not given the go ahead yet about Fracking. If they give the permission then the share price will shoot up quite a bit. The Gov. was waiting for an answer from the Geologists to see if gas can be extracted without causing small earth quakes. There is plenty of gas in the rocks in the North area but no answer yet from the Gov. One Geologist professor has said that permission should be granted and see how these Co's preform. There has been a ban on fracking since 2019. The share price fell to 25P a few weeks ago but has climbed back to 38P by today !! I just thought that I would mention it on here today. NAI ofcourse. | bwana4
01/7/2022 12:19 | jeansey ORPH has delivered it is profitable and has increasing number of contracts, cash in the bank, world leader if not the only option for challenge studies etc and is valued around 1 x revenue when the norm for the sector is 4 x the fact the market does not recognize that in the price is not CF's fault. Yesterday they announced a omicron covid contract. No value in the share price for spin offs but then what's new there. ORPH is sound and doing what its supposed to do. | pogue
01/7/2022 11:59 | HI KS about LAM. Yes they delayed their results ! They had a Bid that was way below, there is another Bidder now in early talks. This is Money have a write up about them. They are carrying a debit of $29 million as well. They have had problems raising working capital too. They have orders but no working capital !! So one to perhaps watch from the fence. Amazing how COVID19 has effected some of these Co's. | bwana4
01/7/2022 11:58 | Re XTR yes they did. I was trying to sell yesterday afternoon and couldn't get a quote. Sold this morning at another moderate loss. I hate it when an RNS appears after hours. I was taken in by CB and his enthusiam. A bit like CF with ORPH. Another lesson learn't !!! | jeanesy
01/7/2022 11:07 | XTR dropped their results and an operational update after hours yesterday, usually meaning there is something to hide. My reading is that they will need to fundraise within the next few months in a difficult market. | chrysalis99
01/7/2022 10:53 | Wan, it is a one off loan. Forget about that going on anymore. Hold your shares tight. Give me the name of another better investment please. AIMHO ofcourse. | bwana4
01/7/2022 10:52 | indeed jb. BOE not due to change rates until 4th August so GBP likely remain under pressure against USD July 2021 the Divi was 3.5c and we got 2.5354p This July we also get 3.5c but, at current exchange rates, that will equate to circa 2.8973p … effectively a 14.27% increase in the GBP value of the divi. That's above headline CPI | mattjos
01/7/2022 10:47 | You could not invent it , could you. The loan detracts Investors. Thus, lowering the share price. Thus, enabling the Company to buy- back shares at a lower price. | klosters65
01/7/2022 10:23 | Yes it was me Wan, so I'm assuming anybody to the short side would've had to pay back the equivalent for a similar bet. Anyway enjoy your winnings that should be good for a drink or ten. | katsy
01/7/2022 10:13 | Poor judgement to make a loan in my view. An instant esg red flag to potential iis. It demonstrates how little the bod are concerned about the public market aspect of this business and marketing to new investors. Let's at least hope they get the new mines working so at least they can pay a decent divi going forwards. Not holding my breath on speed but I continue to hold as a yield play | baddeal
01/7/2022 09:56 | and yes, AAZ £288 divi payment was added to my IG account as a result of the 100/p spread-bet,,,, for the person that asked... Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
01/7/2022 09:34 | I hear you cmb,,, but, I also understand why some would sell on that loan news,,, we all have to decide if it's acceptable to us or not and that's what I was trying to do yesterday... for now I'm going with it and holding tight,,, but, if they start loaning to others and acting as a bank I'd have to question my holding once again!! Fingers crossed it's a one off and at some point we might learn more about the beneficial reasons to AAZ behind it etc etc,,, Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
01/7/2022 09:28 | Jeansey, little Pharma is being hammered all around !! Why? Some sectors become unfavourable in these macro times! why that is ? I have no idea. My investment in AGL is well down but I have very good hopes for this Co. The share price of THG is being manipulated by shorts !! Like Wan says " Oh' what a game this is" !! Such is our life with our investments. We can't be winners all the time ! Yet my punt in IGR ! No way I would have invested there for long term. Yet it just keeps going up !! I am not complaining as a free ride for me. It is just the market behaviour !! | bwana4
01/7/2022 09:27 | One good bit is the pound. It’s hammering continues. The exchange rate for the dividend is being set next week. Making a massive difference from the last dividend. Lovely stuff | jbravo2
01/7/2022 09:08 | Oh' what a storm in a tea cup on the main thread !! Some guy has sold out because of that little loan !! They just don't understand the culture thing there !! Every one to their own. The copper and gold prices just don't bother me. The world is going to need a lot of copper for the EV market. Gold will do it's own thing in time too. I am very glad to be holding AAZ shares. My son runs a Billion Metals business. He was talking about Silver. That is being manipulated same as gold according to him. He has tied up a tidy sum in silver. I am enjoying my time here. Just the weather can be a bit unpredictable here. My free ride in IGR is doing extremely good too. ATB | bwana4
01/7/2022 09:07 | Loan issues aside it appears the falling gold price may start to have an effect here. Long live infinite money printing and debt. Who needs real assets anyway. Let's forget that real inflation is now running at 15-20% now. | katsy
01/7/2022 09:03 | Yes bumpa ;)) | riggerbeautz
01/7/2022 08:58 | There are 1000's of us like that jeansey ... you're not alone | onedayrodders
01/7/2022 08:58 | Sadly cmb I still have a couple more but I am hoping they have fallen enough . MBO being one of them . My worst investment decision ever tbh and ive had some stocks go bust !! | jeanesy
01/7/2022 08:55 | Good morning all. Jeanesy, good to see you have got rid of the losers. The macro environment better to hold some cash in hand as some good chances will come along. | bwana4
01/7/2022 08:54 | Price of copper also being hammered. | jeanesy
01/7/2022 08:41 | and Gold below 1800, Hmm, Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi |
