Bumpa all unto their own.

I just post charts. I don't feel comfotable shorting.

I hold Karma to heart, however pointing out a few bumps in TA may help a few stubborn players who will leave "Iris" with debt and a wicker basket send off.

No advice.

Rb - i don’t bother posting shorts, there’s no point, partly for the reasons you specify - but SSB, believe me they do make money - in the right environment and/or in specific cases.

Yes Bumpa, even the yanks have seen through the debt at CCL, of course it's being massively propped by the Arabs as too big to fail. Maybe so, but no way does it deserve to be rising in the current environment, so the punishment it’s had the last 2 sessions is well deserved and once again another obvious short.

Trouble is, you go on the boards and say so, you get ridiculed and the shorters will burn idiotic comments come out. Far easier to bet on downside at the moment though, as you say.

Also as he has used his shareholding as collateral it's 700k of shares that can't be sold. Not that he was likely to sell anyway

Regardless of the intention we are earning money on a small amount that is more than we would get whilst it sat in the bank. Better it's disclosed and not hidden in the accounts imho

Rb - I’m sure there are a lot of companies who’ve been used to being able to conduct placing after placing, refinance after refinance etc during the ‘good times’ - I use the term with more than a hint of sarcasm - who will now be in trouble as the appetite for such has diminished - for the time being. A lot of sitting ducks to take aim at, excuse the pun.

As bwana4 says it is a storm in a teacup.Nothing wrong at all.

This is what I posted on t'other thread....

Farhang is a key employeee.Maybe it is something connected to equipment which the company will get benefit of in due course. Most likely it is something personal, e.g. house for his daughter and we certainly don't want him selling 400,000 shares if that's the only way he can fund it. He certainly we are certain, must believe that our shares should be at least double what they are currently in the market !!

Guys it is part of Asian culture as well. I have spent a lot of time with the Turkish and Iranian people. I don't think they are breaking any rules regarding, AIM Co.rules either.

Guys it is a very small amount. R,Wazari lent AAZ his money and nobody complained !!
A storm in a tea cup as I see it !! Some don't understand, it is a cultural thing as well. He is probably going to do some work for AAZ.

I get the impression there is a mutual benefit to be had, provided the money is applied to developing something that will benefit Mr Farhang Hedjazi's business, there will likely be a benefit to AAZ, perhaps in applying new efficient methods/processes.

At least no one has raided the pension fund to prop up the balance sheet.

The level of negativity over nothing with AAZ never ceases to amaze me. Ho hum.

Edit: just looked at the main thread and yes Bwana, Reza propped this companies finances up with deep pockets, rather than look for high interest loans. Wonder if some have missed that Reza has also guaranteed this loan too; which is pretty insignificant by his past loans.

LOL:0) Nobody complained when Mr.R.Hazari lent AAZ his money at a similar rate !!

This is poor - the Co. should be using its existing resources, which includes cash held, to grow the business for the benefit of all shareholders, not to act as a mini-lender providing a loan to an employee from Co. funds at a derisory interest rate.

It sends a bad message, irrespective of whether or not the amount is significant or how it is secured.

NO way will he be buying AAZ shares with the loan. Totally unacceptable imho. Will be for other purposes like a property purchase

I wonder in which jurisdiction the loan will be paid? Azerbaijan has regulations and limits on the movement of $.
