Hi KS.
AVCT investor presentation is weeks time if I remember correctly.I would expect some good news there.
Also there will be string of RNS's.
It has been in the press quite a bit over the weekend as well.
It is a great feeling to see a small disruptive Biotechnology Co. literally win the Oscar. Beat the Chinese and the Yanks !! Believe me, I am very proud of AVCT's achievements. A lot more to come yet.
GLA and ATB.

Hi KS,
I saw the MODE article as well.

I think it has a good future (even without Bitcoin) if it continues its payment business. It is one of the shares that I bought into and it has fluctuated between 45 - 55p in the last three months (currently at 49p).

This might be the boost that it needs to get passed 60p. Good luck

I will go with a 3 way split for the comp next week please. AVCT, MODE and RBD.

MODE because of this (contract with The Hut Group) - had a strong rise on Friday, so probably a news leak:

RBD because it gets ever closer to the EWT at West Newton

AVCT suspect more buying next week on the back of the good news last week - possibly some news on contracts at some point next week too?

ORPH looks like it is going to be at the forefront of tackling future pandemics. A good post on the ORPH main board by Jigger spells out the obvious points.

Basically the plan being discussed by the G7 is to have virus vaccines ready in 100 days in the future to cut the time in attacking a virus outbreak. To do that you need to do testing far, far quicker than it is done now. Step forward ORPH which is the world leader, by a long way, in human challenge studies which accelerates vaccine testing by giving vaccinated volunteers the virus and monitors them for a few weeks in a isolation ward unlike the traditional method which is to vaccinate a large group of people in a virus hit area and see how many catch it randomly over 3 or 4 months.
Not expecting it to rise for a couple more weeks until there is the announcement of a couple of large £10 million plus contract wins that are awaiting the end of a characterisation study, add in a spin off qualification date and the accounts, which will show the company is now making a profit after the absorbing 2 loss making companies, Venn and Hvivo and it will be a good end of month I am hoping.
All this and much, much more for a market cap of £241 million.
DYOR, I am not a financial advisor, I hold shares in ORPH, this post is not a recommendation to buy.

KDNC again for me next week

Any day now we can get the agreement with the bank creditors and KDNC will be 20% shareholders in the Amapa iron ore project (already paid for with $2.5M sitting in escrow). They will then increase to 27% when certain conditions are met with a first chance of refusal to get to 49%.

1.3M tonnes of iron ore are ready to be shipped with a 5.3Mtpa production expected when the mine is rehabilitated and the operation owns the integrated mine, beneficiation, railway and port.

The unimpaired value of the mines was over $1b and in 2012 the impaired value was $600M. Iron ore was also much cheaper in 2012.

In addition, KDNC owns just under 10% of EMH (major Lithium project) and is a 30% joint venture partner with BCN on its Fleur lease at the Sonora Lithium project in Mexico.

All this for a 46M GBP market cap. I hope/expect KDNC will double/triple on good news...
