01/12/2020 09:07 | I would endorse everything that TERROPOL has said above. I know a respected financial institution well that had an accumulate rating on AAZ in the gold space(and I commented on the BB about it a year or two ago)but they let their recommendation lapse because of their confusion on the PSA. IMHO the PSA is a strength and is starting to be demonstrated. | goldrush
01/12/2020 08:43 | THISTIMEMAYBE, One of the main reason we remain undervalued is the city never liked the PSA, (Largely misunderstood),Also the region due to the Armenia situation... We are managing both those situations. The fact that we receive strong dividends should make up for the slow progress in the share price. We all would like to be rich yesterday...but as we know get rich quick skeems do not generaly exist. We have hell of a management team, they will deliver. My target price here is £5 | terropol

01/12/2020 08:22 | It won't set the world on fire but for cheap, safe, dividend paying and the chance of a quick 15-20% I like DIGS a lot, prime student accommodation and share price appears to be breaking out of a consolidation | mad foetus
01/12/2020 08:06 | many thanx oakey1, I shall be looking at that one very closely later on today, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
01/12/2020 07:59 | Oh wan forgot to mention management have committed to a 10% divi increase per year | oakey1
01/12/2020 07:57 | Yes that’s the one ex div on 3rd dec | oakey1
01/12/2020 07:57 | @TTM Well all of those are valid reasons for a discount to an equivalent miner compared to in, for example, Canada. This probably won’t ever reach the same valuations as companies there. The question is simply do you think it so undervalued that it is below where it will be shortly. I do, clearly you do, but clearly lots of people don’t. Lots of people are also aware that the shareholder base is expanding. ie the relatively small number of small shareholders is increasing as they hold fewer and fewer shares each. (Due to the increase in price) We’ve seen countless trading posts over the past couple of years and so many people are now wary of buying into other people’s trading. Trading this is entirely normal, but frankly it’s not something that used to happen for a couple of years as the share price cratered. | jbravo2
01/12/2020 07:54 | As mentioned before, the last time I looked the company website simply said we had no operations in the occupied territories. It would be good if that was updates to reflect both that the territories are no longer occupied and to describe the areas we do have. It would make research much easier for newbies. | donald pond

01/12/2020 07:41 | many thanx bz, 74% of the Zod-Soyudlu gold Deposit should go to Azerbaijan......... we shall just have to wait and see, fingers crossed :-) Cheers Wan :-) as I mentioned the other day,,, one of the biggest positives that may come out of this for the AAZ share price is for the world to hear/see AZERGOV backing AAZ with confirmation that the liberated mines are AZER and AAZ is the company that will mine them on behalf of the AZER people etc etc... A firm underpinning of AAZ'ds position with AZERGOV for all to see so to speak.... fingers crossed :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
01/12/2020 07:40 | Good Morning all, Good Luck and Good Health to you all this fine day :-) Cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
01/12/2020 07:31 | And I might add that 2/3 months ago I would have been happy to sell half my shares at 1.70. Right now, I wouldn't, I'd be looking for £2+. And that's not what I consider fair value, I'm just well overweight here and for sensible PF construction would like to be better balanced. But I'm not going to sell out at half price in order to achieve that. | donald pond
01/12/2020 06:10 | I do think there is some truth in the idea that the free float here is too small to make a functioning market. There are 114m shares in issue. 40% are held by the board and while guessing how much is owned by sticky PIs is a mugs game, I think it is probably close to another 40%. So there might be 20-30m shares which are "up for grabs".It makes it very difficult for new buyers to get a meaningful stake, though I think there is a buyer around atm for the first time in ages. Yes, there are stale bulls - I am one - but they are not stupid and won't sell for a price below perceived intrinsic value. What it all boils down to is needing news that moves the dial, gets the share price up to that fair value, encourages some selling and buying etc. But it's about getting the newsflow right. | donald pond
01/12/2020 04:31 | Hey Wan One of my favourite dividend shares is GLO Contour global....I got in at the lows this year so getting 8% but think it’s still around 6% if you bought now Oakey | oakey1

01/12/2020 01:34 | Conroy snuck out late results. Just skimmed them; the highlight of the year, even though it hasn't happened yet and was a post year 'event' was the proposed JV. Hopefully they get it signed soon. Comment:"The proposed joint venture remains subject to, inter alia, the completion of due diligence and the entering into of definitive documentation including the final joint venture agreement. In addition, the proposed joint venture, should it proceed on the basis anticipated under the HoT, will be subject to the Company seeking shareholder approval. Conroy and AAZ continue to work towards the goal of entering into a definitive, final joint venture agreement, however, the COVID-19 pandemic and related restrictions has resulted in progress being slower than expected. The Company will provide further update announcements at the appropriate time. | sammu
01/12/2020 01:24 | Thanks JB. I missed those clarifications. | sammu
01/12/2020 00:50 | Its assets are largely along a fractious border (but now with peacekeepers), its new assets aren’t drilled out to know what’s there (but they’re free and other people think them worth mining), Azerbaijan isn’t a democracy (but increasingly few places are - and Armenia is and is a mess). And gold is dropping off. There are risks, but what outweighs the potential upside that has suddenly appeared? Edit: I recently bought more shares for above the current price. Dividends naturally reduce my average price per share, but I have a figure in mind (nowhere near today’s price) where I would finally sell some. I’m only a small holder (very small fractions of a per cent of the company) but if enough larger holders think the same way then perhaps the price is too low to make a functioning market? And here it seems the BoD are ambivalent about saying anything that might help to raise the share price. | thistimemaybe
30/11/2020 23:45 | 1688 for next support in gold by my simple charts, as DP mentioned in the podcast, the trend is our friend and right now it's headed down,,, we have to face that,,, but, there is strong support at 1688 as I see it,,, whilst AAZ will make less profit per oz, they will of course still be making good money at 1688 and hopefully the gold price will bounce at that level,,,,, if indeed it gets there... let's see how it plays out,,, GLA, Cheers Wan :-) free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | wanobi |
