I'm an investor too, although I'd like some tips from DD as he seems to be the fountain of all knowledge to learn from, while hes not busy licking his windows. You know so much oh great one.

Fwiw, I have shared a lot of info about CNG on that thread over the last few months. Probably a lot more than I had intended at this stage but, the more i keep digging the more the current price seems completely wrong.Whatever conclusions folk may come to about the company, i believe everyone will now appreciate that they have created something quite special at Pakrut ... the debt has been for very productive purposes & it is all coming together during a time of elevated gold prices. Both short and long-term, i am convinced the equity has a helluva lot of room to run before it gets anywhere near a sensible valuation. Anyway, last time I'll mention it here as do not want to get accused of trying to ramp ... any comments from anyone, please direct to the CNG thread & I'll do my best there to reply.

I’m all for balanced comments and opposing opinions. They need to be legitimate though and with well considered reason/knowledge.
Duck doesn’t appear to meet any of the above.

Pls let’s all maintain the quality of this forum. It’s fairly unique from what I can tell and an excellent source of analysis and subjective opinion that I for one greatly value.

i'd like a few people here to clarify their interpretation of 'investing' as compared to 'trading'.

Mr. Duck refers to 'investing' but, I think he actually means trading.

Different people will have different interpretations of each activity and the timescales over which they conduct those activities & this is so often at the heart of these sort of bulletin board exchanges.

United Oil & Gas (LSE:UOG) El Salmiyah Well delivers significant flow rates

The recently completed El Salmiyah development well on the Abu Sennan concession in Egypt has demonstrated that the main target of the well is potentially much larger than originally anticipated. During testing, El Salmiyah delivered flow rates of approximately 4,100 bopd of oil and 18 mmcfpd of gas from the Kharita Reservoir. With these additional volumes on stream, the company estimates that United’s net production from its 22% interest in Abu Sennan is likely to exceed 2,500 boepd within the coming weeks.

Abu Sennan is proving to be an incredibly robust asset and at our valuation of 4.4p per share, we calculate that the value of Abu Sennan alone exceeds the level of the current share price comfortably.

With this solid foundation in place, we are establishing a refreshed valuation of 8.1p per share now that a semblance of stability is returning to the sector. Note that this does not include any value for the Walton Morant licence in Jamaica. Should discussions with the relevant authorities lead to an extension for United on this licence, it would add at least a further 1.8p, bringing United’s valuation to 9.8p per share.

My recc was correct in the medium and long term - as can only be the case. No one can predict what punters will do meanwhile and 'idiot' momentum normally continues for some time with any stock. If you'd read and understood my reasons you'd have taken your AAZ profit and benefited from all those other goldie profits subsequently. Only a dolt would have hung on just because they'd done well up to then. In investing, you have to think, and look for advice from others. BUT - stay in AAZ and keep missing out if you want !

There was also a lot of interest on buying the dip. So funny that DD's posting history completely calls his bluff. To be a good liar you need to have a good memory.

I've got a smallish investment in YCA... perceive that to be low risk. Baled out of BKY at a big loss... they're having trouble getting permits from anti-nuclear Spanish authorities and timescales have been shot to pieces. Tempted to spread the risk with GCL.

Exactly...look at Thursday a little buying interest and we are up 9.5p....the fall back on Friday was due to the sudden gold price reversal and crazy NFP numbers from USA....which now of course we know were due to incorrect counting !!....or should I say "misclassification" 😀😀

Share price around what it is now, not at the top as claimed.
He can’t even get his trades to make a profit with hindsight and the benefit of multiple user names.

Fabulous.

I've been hearing that same bull story on uranium for 10 years

It sounds simple and plausible

My understanding is the problem with it is the 'market' for the mined stuff can change dramatically due to decommissioning of the weapons grade stuff? And nobody knows how or when those releases could happen due to many covert/unannounced holdings etc

I also think if you follow environmental argument to its conclusion why bother with nuclear just go for completely clean renewables like solar/wind. Their one negative (availability to provide for baseload) will be addressed by lithium and vanadium utility grade battery storage

If you did want to play the sector why not do it via something like GCL ? Geiger Counter Uranium Fund ?
