Hey I agree, well said mf
DD (if he really posted such advice, I can’t remember and can’t be bothered to check) called it right.
For some of us, it’s not really relevant. I can’t pull out 7 figures of shares at 170p and get it back in at 120p. Indeed you’d have struggled to get anything much over 6 figures out at the very top. And it certainly requires patience to buy any size at the moment.
Of course we also only hear again from those who were right.
We don’t hear anything from those who got it wrong.
Resourceful at 7p. Zhockey at 18p. I could go on.
You were right DD. Well done. Happy you’re making money. Only not here as apparently you never owned any. That’s a shame.
Thing is, I bet staying invested pays off to be right in the future. Of course I suspect DD will have magically got back in just at the right time, but whatever floats his boat.
I shall watch his trades with interest. It will be helpful if he lets us know under how many names he posts of course :D

Well done Dozy. Now, why don't you go and set up a thread telling people what they should invest in as from your posting record you seem to go around telling people why they are wrong. But assume that we've all read your views, think you are a genius, and would like to see your dedicated thread.

Uranium

I have created a watchlist for uranium stocks (there are not many) as I want some exposure to what should be a bull run at some point in the future. This is what I have so far:-

YCA - Yellow Cake (LSE)
KAP - Kazataprom (LSE)
BKY - Berkeley Energia (LSE)
DNN - Denison Mining (NYSE)
CCJ - Cameco Mining (NYSE)

The main reason to invest in Uranium is that the current price ($34/lb) makes it very difficult to make a profit on mining. uranium peaked at $136/lb in 2007. Since then it has formed a long bowl shape similar to what we have seen in gold.

Companies are limping along as they have historical pricing agreements at set prices. As these contracts elapse several mines have shut down/ reduced capacity. On the demand side India and China have plans for lots of new nuclear power plants. It all about timing but is Uranium now where gold was 12-18 months ago in the cycle?

I now remember that my recc to take profits June 20 at around the present price with fully explained critique of hardman's puff was 'deleted' by some inadequate ! Since then other goldies have seen 40% plus gains and AAZ has held level merely due to a higher gold price. So Mr Friendzarin your 'experience' hasn't helped you much, has it.
My reasons not to chase AAZ still hold, despite stronger gold. My post (under a different moniker) 23,301 repeated some of my reasons set out in the deleted post a few days before
And it seems your 'experience' hasn't taught you that 'paid' deramping doesn't exist. (I wish I COULD get paid - maybe your 'experience can show me who to approach ?)
What does exist is 'paid' broker ramping, and gullible pi's who can't cope with arguments which demolish their dreams, and like children 'filter' them and then have them 'deleted'.

Thanks, I have looked at coinbase before and been in ARB a while back, who do seem like a decent indirect way for exposure.

Appreciate your reply.

Not sure what's making you tick DD as after your first two posts I filtered you.

Good luck to whoever pays you.

As a LTBH all experience tells me that when contra dictum such as yours turn up out of the blue we are going to move up.

Thank you for the signal.

Wind dancer - great work! The threads will be better without reading posts from somebody with no shares and/ or a fantasy trading account :-) What the moron fails to see is that many people here have already made a significant amount with this company, so he's just a little late to the party. Shame.

Droyden

I have a few different strategies for cryptos.
- I use Coinbase for long positions of direct purchases.
- I have some shares in ARB (BTC miner) for long positions.
- For leverage I use small spreadbets in BTC and ETH for short term positions.

For the record I am not convinced that BTC has bottomed but I would rather be early than late. I have some reserve funds to load up below $6500 if I am that lucky.

Goldman Sachs have recently advised people not to buy BTC so that is the best buy signal you could wish for!

'No value' - from someone told you why the shares are too high and was proved right ! These boards are for the intelligent who want to understand what's driving their shares - up or down. They're obviously not for the likes of you - so please stay away.
