Have a feeling the FED will hold on interest rates and temporary halt the march on gold. Cannot see gold below $1350 though in 3 months time.

OK Wan. I don't pay attention to Tom Winneford,s word, all the same ! They took profits at 90 P in AAZ !! Goes to show how good he is !! He was invested in AMC if I remember rightly. Sour Grapes more like in my mind at the moment.

AMC had to survive, agreed the Wonga Financing. They had no choice at all but to get finance from whoever they could. That has kept AMC going.

Wan, do you believe in the Nickel Story?? Tesla are worried about their supply. Musk said he may buy a Nickel Mine. LOL :0)
We have Nickel Sulfide, the EV Batteries need Nickel Sulfide not Laterite. Too many impurities in Laterite. It would cost a lot more to remove these impurities to be used in Battery Manufacture. So Nickel Sulfide mix with Sulphuric acid you have Nickel Sulfate that is what they use in EV Battery manufacture. You have to read the PFS first. It is one of the RNS from AMC. Do you know that there are 70 Giga Battery factories being built around the world for EV,s?
Don't jump in without doing your full DYOR etc. What if there is a straight T/O or a merger?? The shares would be suspended then !! No one can buy in then !!
I gave my Broker to transfer 560.365 shares into my ISA today.
IMHO for what it is worth. AMC will come good in its own time. It is not a share for Jam tomorrow people.
Yes, just a small punt would be good from you. Only if you are sure. Not because I say so. At the end it is your money and not mine. Last words from Proactive, the last Nickel Sulfide Resource to be discovered in this world!! Not my word but theirs.
Do what you feel is right in your mind.£1K/2K is good enough for a punt to start with.IMO.
Though this is my second largest holding in my portfolio. Because I believe in this story.
Everyone have their own favorite play, this one is mine. ATB.

Edit.
The Battery Manufacturers are very worried about future Nickel Supply.
Look at the Nickel Chart on KITCO. Nickel has been bought, as insurance by the Battery Manufacturer
Check Seeking Alpha as well, regarding Nickel.

The GBP is getting a proper drumming, another month and we could see 1.24/1.23 yet..., there’s not much of a case for a stronger pound any time soon while Brexit drags on, Boris promises things he can't deliver and manufacturers/employers pack up and leave...

bozzy is giving you the yearly yield of interim and final dividends. The final dividend to be approved at the AGM is 4 cents which at US$1.255/£ is 3.18p per share, or approx 2.86% (at 111.5pps on 17/6/19) just for the final dividend payable in July.

cmb, thanx for pointing me to the PI write up, it is a very good summary of the opportunity,,, albeit without any view in regard to the financing games at play,,, it has certainly made me think about taking a small position for a third time :-) cheers Wan,,,,, will let you know if I do :-)

cmb - There is a write up on Proactive Investors today about AMC. Why??

No idea :-)

Just have a little read of it. They have not included the 2018 Drilling Results in the PFS yet. Nor given them to the PI's either !! Something is brewing there for sure IMO.

I think you are most probably correct, something is brewing,,,,,

could they be under NDA as part of a acquisition/takeover process or something similar??

maybe, just maybe.....

PS... you are most welcome to post your thoughts on any stock here, that's what this thread is about.... and I know you are not ramping AMC, I know you genuinely believe in its potential and that something very, very positive for the share price is coming very soon...

Cheers
Wan :-)

Amur Minerals offers two potential development scenarios for the Kun-Manie nickel sulphide deposit 14:48 17 Jun 2019 Amur Minerals has a huge undeveloped nickel sulphide deposit in Russia

Nickel is a major component in making batteries for electric vehicles
Huge nickel resource in Russia. One of the world’s last sulphide deposits
Pre-feasibility studies offer two scenarios for economic extraction

What does Amur Minerals do?
Amur Minerals Corporation (LON:AMC) is a junior mining exploration company that holds assets in Russia. The company is run by long-standing chief executive Robin Young, who spends much of his time in Russia. Other directors, including Robert Schafer and Brian Savage also boast long years of experience in the mining industry.

What does Amur Minerals own?
The principle asset is the Kun-Manie nickel deposit in the Amur Oblast of Russia’s Far East. This project is one of the world’s last remaining unexploited nickel sulphide deposits, and also contains significant amounts of copper. As it stands the JORC resource rings in at 155.1mln tonnes of ore grading 1.02% nickel equivalent for a total nickel equivalent tonnage of 1.58mln tonnes.

Plans for development
A prefeasibility study released in early 2019 showed that production is likely to come from four open pits and one underground operation. It’s envisaged that the overall mine life will be 15 years, although precisely how the ore is mined depends on which of the two options presented in the prefeasibility study is adopted.

Option one, known as the TS option, will cost less to develop but offers lower margins and a lower NPV.

Option two, known as the FFS option, will cost more to develop, but will deliver significantly higher returns.

Under the TS option, post-tax free cashflow will amount to just over US$2bn.

Under the FFS option, post-tax free cashflow will amount to just under US$3bn.

Chief executive Robin Young is confident that the future of nickel is bright. Nickel is a key component in the manufacture of batteries for electric vehicles. As well as that huge growth market it is also essential in steel manufacturing.

"The PFS provides a robust review of Kun-Manie's value, scale and viability and it is our intention to explore further the strategic options that will enhance the company's continued development of the project,” says Young. “We believe that it puts the company in a strong position and provides attractive economics to invite discussions with varied parties to strengthen our team and deliver production at Kun-Manie. Additionally, there is significant potential for further upside to this PFS, following the company's successful drill programme last year, which yielded a number of positive results including expansion of the mineral resource estimate and mine life. As a company, we are encouraged by the PFS and the further step it has created in positioning the project to attractive partners that will support Amur's goal of seeing Kun-Manie being developed further and value delivered to shareholders."

Wan there were people selling AAZ at 7 and 8 p, thinking it was a good return from 5p! All depends on attitude to risk, conviction and chasing other hot stocks. I’ve long been in the boy plunger camp, mind it’s sometimes cost me riding winners too long, (Mart Resources a six figure case in point I don’t want to repeat..ouch! Made small beer to what could’ve been.).

Probably why I keep taking profits on GCM and Wallbridge when they look right. AAZ I just thought was so undervalued and I still feel that way.

The yield at 113.45p at today's exchange rate (1.255) is 4.92%

Fact

Not a ramp or exaggeration. That's below:

Expecting to see 8c or 9c paid for 2019 accounts, due mainly to increased price of gold. Other factors are lower price of copper (immaterial vs increased gold price). Lower interest charges. Hopefully overall production will be slightly higher than 2018, at a very slightly lower AISC.

At 9 cents for 2019's accounts, payable in autumn 2019 and summer 2020, the yield would be 6.32% for buyers at 113.45p. Not an unrealistic scenario.

feet firmly on the ground cmb :-) hopefully we bought from 5p holders who made a massive profit and now have their cash in the bank and are very, very happy,,,, we still have paper profits,,,, although, I agree with you, for us, this is a LTH provided the story doesn't change and yes, prove up those old Russian numbers and we'll be at 300-500p I feel :-)…..

any newbies looking in, please do not think I am a seasoned investor (cmb is), I'm not, I say it as I see it,,,,, but, that most certainly does NOT mean I am right :-), so please do the reading and satisfy yourselves before you dive in.... and remember, no matter how good something looks, those black swans are around to spoil the party at very short notice :-) GLA

Cheers
Wan :-)
