17/6/2019 07:48 | Thanks hbr. "Lucian Miers, aka the Bard of the Boleyn, is one of the UK's best known short sellers.? Unlike Simon Cawkwell who will buy or go short on the back of a rumour or a tip off because that is the (entertaining) nature of the man as a gambler, Miers is pretty rigorous about doing his homework. " Could this explain some of the larger trades we've seen recently? I suspect he can invest more than your average PI. Good to see he agrees with the consensus on here. Stonking returns to be made here over the next couple of years. | jbravo2

16/6/2019 22:08 | From shareprophets: Help wanted on Forex and Anglo Asian Mining By Lucian Miers | Sunday 16 June 2019 'Meanwhile, tipping resource stocks to the long side is also well beyond my pay grade, but I am pleased that my Ferrexpo (FXPO) long tip last month has paid off. I have sold for a nice profit and bought some Anglo Asian Mining (AAZ) at 107p. It seems to have started a move after being range-bound for a while. It has net cash, a dividend yield of 5% and gives exposure to gold, silver and copper.' | ![]() homebrewruss
16/6/2019 21:38 | Wan just thought I'd post up Gran Colombia and Wallbridge, can you see the relative spikes? Not always perfect but there is your flip/flop opportunity and relative performance to AAZ. AAZ my biggest holding, but not hard to see why it's not generated as much profit for me this year, nor how it needs to catch up in performance relatively speaking. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ![]() riggerbeautz

16/6/2019 11:35 | How's that glass fardels bear? Still half empty!? 10* free cash flow is a sensible valuation. If resources are doubled then a higher multiple would be more sensible. So £2 and £3.50 are not wild dreams. £5 within 5 years is possible if they're producing 200,000 ozs per year and have proven jorc compliant resources to last more than 10 years at that production rate. For now though I'll sell at £2.20 tomorrow if given that choice. Still a bargin imho. | ![]() ilostthelot

16/6/2019 09:52 | #Fardels Bear, I see you have found your Pom Poms.., well done.. :o) Over enthusiasm can get you into trouble, and risks should not be ignored, that is a fair and reasonable approach, BUT, the case for Gold is pretty overwhelming now isn't it with rate cuts / QE the only magic bullets left to stimulate failing economies, and debasing currencies is good for PM's. Our jurisdiction and relationship with the Azeri Gov has demonstrated to be robust and the PSA is in place well into our future, of course events can happen to throw a spanner in the works but again while the Gov is getting their share safely and reliably there really isn't a reason why they would make changes that make much sense..? The broker notes from Hardman and Spangle are singing the same tune as news filters out to the wider market, and after doing their own independent research the targets keep getting raised which is a pretty good platform to build on, FE are showing the FY2018 data now, and the fundamentals tab makes for interesting viewing of growth.. Onward and upward, with the AGM this week and ExDiv next week for starters.., and a way to go for a sensible PE of 15 and 170p per share IMO, before any uplift for discoveries. | laurence llewelyn binliner

16/6/2019 08:12 | The success achieved in 2018 has placed Anglo Asian in an enviable position to move forward. Gedabek is now generating stable cash flow which provides funds for both investment and to pay dividends. The Company's solid balance sheet and excellent relationships with banks in Azerbaijan and elsewhere means loan finance can be easily obtained if required. Together, this means the Company has ample financial resources to seize any suitable opportunities that may arise. The Company has over 1,000 square kilometers of land within its contract areas. As set out above and in the strategic report below, the Company has a comprehensive exploration programme underway to extensively explore this land for new deposits. This programme is starting to yield results with the identification of several major targets at Gedabek and Gosha. We regard Ordubad as an untapped value opportunity and work there is now being ramped up. The Company will also aggressively pursue any suitable opportunities outside Azerbaijan which it believes can be made commercially successful.During 2018, Anglo Asian made a concerted effort to meet with many existing and potential investors including organised roadshows, investor presentations and conferences. Our reputation as an attractive investment opportunity was evidenced by the press coverage received in 2018 with articles published both in trade publications and mainstream national newspapers in the United Kingdom. As the Company develops and grows, we firmly intend to maintain this reputation and increase the profile of the Company. We also intend to increase the Company's social media presence. We have set a production target of between 82,000 and 86,000 gold equivalent ounces for 2019, which is an increase from 2018. This includes up to 67,500 ounces of gold and up to 3,300 tonnes of copper. We are on track to achieve this production target and I look forward to updating shareholders with our progress in the coming months. I would like to conclude by saying that Anglo Asian accomplished a tremendous amount in 2018. We plan to build on our now very solid foundations to develop your Company into a mid-tier gold, copper and silver producer. It is therefore with continued optimism that I look forward to 2019 and beyond. It gets better every time you read it. https://www.investeg | ![]() bazboa

These stocks are so beaten down that risk/reward is maybe 20% downside to 200% upside. “And then we have this week Paul Tudor Jones coming in, being interviewed on Bloomberg, one of the world’s most successful investors saying that his best trade in the next two years is being long gold because it’s going to go to 1750.
