Paul Tudor Jones has been on Bloomberg saying gold is his favourite investment atm and that once it passes 1400 it should move quickly to 1700. When the Fed starts cutting long gold, long rates and at some point short dollar is his call

Heard a good negotiating analogy today, which goes if you walk into a car dealership to buy a car, and the salesman knows in advance that you are going to accept his price, not walk away and tell him to shove it.., how likely is it he will give you a better offer and his best price...?

Another day closer to the AGM, ExDiv, and news.. :o)

Good to see buyers all the way up to 105.20 this morning, and 2 auctions at 102.50p

I've emailed the IR team and the nomad re the AGM resolutions, given the time difference.

Last year I note though that the rns came out the following day

Well, with STCM, I took the view that the recent financials were excellent, div yield was @ about 9% and there appeared a strong recent (3 month long) floor at c32-33p so it was a reasonable bet that I wouldn't get any top-up much cheaper so I bit the bullet.

If I wasn't prepared to buy any more at that level, then I wouldn't buy any more full stop. If I thought it was worth less (which I don't) then I should be selling up everything (I didn't).

My average still around c27.5p so all good :)

they seem fairly healthy - at least there is stock available today :)

have dropped IR an email to check if resolutions & divi passed. AGM was at 2:30 local time (7:30am BST) so should be done & dusted by now
