10/6/2019 15:18 | my 40p top-ups were looking good last week...maybe jumped the gun a tad now. Now sure with the div yield they could/should much more...maybe a re-test of the 35p as mid but its squabbling over a 1/2p here and there...not an issue in the 6-9month view imo | sportbilly1976
10/6/2019 15:11 | "I have been there and seen it all first hand." Terrapol So of course has Ilham Aliyev and a number of his cronies; at the formal commencement of production in 2009 and at least once subsequently, as AAZ presentations show him perusing the AL plant 2013. Guess IA was impressed at the ongoing transformation of the town and surrounds; so much more since. That Brit. Ambassadorial visit to Gedabek, Oct. 17 probably consolidated the good relationship a tad. | 2sporrans
10/6/2019 15:08 | not yet SB, I do want more, I shall watch the chart for now :-) cheers Wan | wanobi
10/6/2019 15:04 | you planning to buy some now, or have you earlier? | sportbilly1976
10/6/2019 15:02 | STCM - nearly bought more the other day,, but, held off :-) Cheers Wan | wanobi
10/6/2019 14:19 | AAZ - 45k max on the bid at 98.7, 15k on the offer at 101.50 Edit: 2 lots of 25´s behind that bid, another 10k on the offer around 101.9 | bumpa33
10/6/2019 14:17 | @LLB @GG Well there can't be any new news announced in the AGM meeting itself. There could well be news released in a RNS leading up to the AGM of course. The opportunity to question the board is so valuable that anyone who has a substantial holding should be there IMO. What you manage to find out in the networking afterwards can cover stuff you'll never really see released in an RNS. Small details perhaps but can really help investment decisions. | jbravo2
10/6/2019 14:09 | MM's just got the price down to the level at which the buyer/seller are willing to transact in the auction. | mattjos
10/6/2019 13:54 | Something strange is going on when they won't let you buy more than 500, but you can sell 60,000 online (at 98.7) Rarely able to sell more than 20,000 (with HL at least) | qazwsxedc69
10/6/2019 13:47 | LLB I found it useful last year. There was probably 30 mins Q and A with discussions ongoing afterwards. Very likely an RNS just prior to the meeting its one of my big holdings so I'm going | gutterhead
10/6/2019 13:40 | Rarely do AGM's result in new news, just reassurance and soothing words (sometimes). | goodgrief
10/6/2019 13:40 | 500 still the max. Wtaf! | mad foetus
10/6/2019 13:35 | Our AGM 20th next week and having not been to the last 1, apart from the usual voting the directors in again and the dividend, can we to expect any additional project news flow..? or more likely this will fall back to the Q2 update in 4/5 weeks time.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
10/6/2019 12:43 | 500 shares is max online offer | mattjos
10/6/2019 12:41 | was expecting a fall back in Gold this month but, don't see it lasting too long. The Mexico tariffs is just a sideshow to the much more important China/USA trade dispute & the continuing deceleration in growth across the world. The FED is already much too late in its first rate cut. The longer they leave it, the more 'creative' they are going to have to be to try and stop the slide & therefore the sharper the resultant upward move in Gold will become | mattjos
10/6/2019 12:36 | i snagged a few more. looks like a brief re-test of the £1 hurdle | mattjos
10/6/2019 12:34 | Can't even buy 1,000 online, and I was looking for more than that anyway! | mad foetus
10/6/2019 11:09 | AAZ nice tree shake by the MM's ? cheers Wan :-) | wanobi
10/6/2019 10:44 | Also we have to remember, AAZ created 1000 jobs + spin offs. What was a small pour village is now a very well developed small city type. The Staff love working for the company. The government get a profit share and corporation taxes, and they are our partners. I am very comfortable with my position. (For new people here, I have been there and seen it all first hand.) | terropol
10/6/2019 09:48 | Trading off an PE of just 8.5 takes into account but some of the jurisdiction risk, perhaps overly so as we should be on 15.. but there is safety with a Gov PSA which mitigates some risk, and the likely hood of a that changing any time soon as Corp tax and profits are rolling in is IMO remote, as an investor it would be foolish to ignore risk, but on balance I see we are pretty well protected with the current arrangements in place.. | laurence llewelyn binliner
10/6/2019 09:43 | Sorry that was well OTT, wrong ticker, wrong board. I think AAZ due a rest and a bit of consolidation before next leg up so may be able to top up at 90p. Chart shows steps and no doubt gold through $1400 will help AAZ up. | edjge2
10/6/2019 09:09 | Country risk, I think there's more a risk in this country if Labour under it's current guise ever get in | celeritas
10/6/2019 08:25 | Fardels Bear - Great Pseudonym "...And makes us rather bear those ills we have Than fly to others that we know not of?" BP screwed for over $65-bn over Macondo and still paying out ~$1-bn pa. Yet remains hugely committed to US - deepwater, shale and downstream. Caspian Gas/pipelines is massive play and several years of development/expansio Maybe the BP-Azerzi mutual interest offers a kind of insurance for AAZ? + the Azerzi policy of wanting to attract foreign investment to diversify economy away from so heavily oil/gas + Looking to EU for trade [China too]. With Russia/Iran/Turkey as neighbours, guess Azerbijan may become under pressure from influence direct/indirect. Not forgetting Armenia and Azerbaijan will want to retrieve lost territories some day. But as others have posted, situation remains stable and risks less than a great many other countries - EM for sure; maybe even DM. | 2sporrans
10/6/2019 08:23 | thanx Bumpa, plan is to see how the chart plays out, its smashed through the 50 & 200DMA's, will it now go on to test that support/resistance line around 6p or simply fall away :-) Cheers Wan free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | wanobi |
