15/10/2018 08:39 | have a read of this wanobi. He's a guy i've a lot of time for. If he's right (on the downside scenario), we could be looking at a v severe market correction or worse. As he points out there's been a lot of technical damage to the charts so bulls have a lot to do to regain the momentum. I'm warming to Powell as i think he's different from Greenspan, Bernanke and Yellen etc in that, so far, he is not beholden to markets, or indeed Trump. If markets don't think the "Fed has their back" then i think we may well be looking at (a lot) more downside. Read a lot of panic from punters over the last week. They ain't seen nothing yet if we really go for it. Should be good for gold of course, quality will always out in the end. I should add, we've not confirmed anything yet, and likely to have a bounce here from oversold positioning, but critical to watch the markets next few weeks... | bumpa33
15/10/2018 08:33 | Good start to the week. | someuwin

15/10/2018 07:55 | Matt "More research. Best quality maps I've come across & summary tables towards the end of the document:" The tables reminded me that 16,000 tons was once mined out of Bittibulag, with 2.0% copper. What year was that do you know? Was it Soviet times? | 2sporrans
14/10/2018 20:06 | • Tinkering – This stage starts when founders “start to take action to examine the idea more seriously, and it ends when they fully commit to developing the business.” It usually occurs while the founder continues to work a day job. • The blade years – This stage, typically lasting three or four years, is when founders have committed full-time to the venture, but revenue looks like the blade part of a hockey stick -- extremely low, if there is any at all. • The growth inflection point – The stage where the business model is honed and revenue turns up sharply, and pressure to scale up quickly mounts. • Surging growth – The stage featuring accelerated growth and complexities associated with leading and managing the enterprise. Sound familiar? Cheers Wan | wanobi

14/10/2018 12:47 | To me, it is becoming increasingly apparent that we are sat on something really quite extraordinary & that Behre Dolbear were absolutely correct when they summarised:"In Behre Dolbear's opinion, the group of properties covered by Anglo Asian's Production Sharing Agreement constitutes a potential source of copper and gold of world-class importance." | mattjos
14/10/2018 12:28 | I'm going to have to read the article a few times to extract full value. Clearly, evaluating the Gadir [and Gedabek generally] prospect is still very much WIP. Let's hope that the Tokaj Mountains epithermal deposit template is indeed a close match for Gadir. There are prospects named adjacent to Gadir that have known surface mineralisation. Like the Umid [parallel faultline to Gadir] one further out to WNW; Gadir being WSW of the main pit. There's a host of minerals sampled from Umid including Lead and Tin + several others I don't recognise from the element codes. There's at least a few similar parallel faultlines close to Gadir which like Umid beckon for drilling. Additionally, the article tells us of at least one zone of breccia piped [fractured?] deposits, WSW of Gadir; again there is known surface mineralisation. Not just lead and tin but Gold/Silver. Definitely a priority for deep drilling as the gold/silver could well be very high grade and multiple 'plugs'. They would be typically 200-300m down. Typically below them would be copper, maybe all the way down to 1000m from surface. The article strongly suggests that where the copper is, the tin and lead are to be found too. There's a hint that the whole 10km Gedabek to Bittibulag Northerly section of the middle belt [extends South too] may be replete with copper porphyry deposits; possibly large scale. We already know there's at least a significant copper orebody at Bittibulag from drilling - 2016 was it? There is of course Ugur along the way. And as the article states and Ugur demonstrates, where there's a commercial deposition of Gold, there's likely a peripheral one or 3 of silver! Guess that the heliborne survey will have already flown over this part of the middle belt as must be top of the list for investigation. | 2sporrans
