thanx Cel, I didn't know that, cheers Wan

found this on HL........

"As at 31 December 2017, client money is primarily held with the UK clearing banks. The full panel of approved institutions with a UK banking licence, actively holding client money as at 31 December 2017 comprises: Abbey National Treasury Services Plc, Bank of Scotland Plc, Barclays Bank Plc, Goldman Sachs International Bank Plc, HSBC Bank Plc, Investec Bank Plc, Lloyds Bank Plc, Santander UK Plc and the UK regulated branches of Qatar National Bank SAQ, Emirates NBD PJSC and Bank of Montreal."

but, also found this.........

Investors are likely to be covered by the provisions of the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS), if Hargreaves Lansdown ceases trading. It can award up to £50,000 in compensation to any one investor where they decide that an investment business is in default and is unable to satisfy any claims against it. In addition, if one of the banks which we use for depositing cash balances is declared in default, each individual is entitled to 100% of the first £85,000 in total in compensation for losses across all their deposits with that institution.

so I think I'm no better off even so?

Cheers
Wan

Petomi,

Two things that are likely to lower FCF imo
The start/resumption of corporation tax payments
I believe they have stated exploration costs are expected to be higher next year than this one

Other posters will correct me if I'm wrong

Some things that will increase FCF
Hopefully a lower AISC going forwards from blending better grades from Gadir etc
Better grades in general
Better weather, though this year has been good
Q4 should give us a useful steer on production going forward as not sure the full benefit of setup with the 2nd crusher is apparent in the Q3 update
Interest on cash pile
Reducing or paying off debt completely using the cash already accumulated

The divi will also be a lower yield to future investors as the share price increases for example as the NPV increases due to the Gadir JORC

I would add that many brokers seem to assume that growth suddenly comes to an end in 18 months time: similar predictions at GAW and BUR. as Mattjos says, there are many reasons to believe that production will increase yoy for the foreseeable.

given their June Flash note proved to be too conservative over a 4 month future projection, I am not sure we can pay too much attention to their 2 year forecasts petomi.

imo, at some point the company is going to start up Ordubad and/or expand processing facilities at Gedabek .. a flotation bolt-on maybe and/or extra underground mining plant for the newly enlarged Gadir/Gedabek complex off the back of the JORC.

I do not actually believe the company is telling SPA what they intend at this stage. The JORC will point the way + the heli-survey should hilit further opportunities.
One thing I am quite certain of .. having got to 100koz next year, Reza will not stand still & 125koz will be the next target

Not trying to flag a negative - I have had a good run with AAZ who seen to have done a great job for shareholders, and am hoping for a lot more as do others here. However, I would appreciate any comments on this query:

I havent seem the full share price Angel note but their 'morning view' from yesterday while showing plenty of cash in the bank after 2 years actually shows FCF in 2019 and 2020 somewhat lower than in 2018:

FCF:
2018 32.0
2019 27.1
2020 27.7

The cash in the bank implies they could afford to increase (or pay a special divi)but if they stick to a 25% of FCF dividend policy the above might suggest the prospect of an even better yield in 2019 is not assured?

Any comment or explanation welcomed (and sorry if someone has already addressed this anomaly)

regards to all LT holders

Should be in clink with his mate Bliar, on a charge of intoxicated whilst in charge of a country. No EU regulation about that, or most of the Brussels remittance men would be clink too!

Another buying opportunity window closing by the look of it. I still don't understand why anybody would sell these, unless of course it's just people trading on +5 or +10, but then it's not liquid enough for that sort of trading.

good spot 2sp .. that's Poland, Egypt & now Hungary all new buyers, explaining they see safety in building gold reserves.
The list of central banks actively is growing .. they'll all be at it soon. They do act in herds.
They see it almost a necessity now to protect against either continued strength in US$ or a collapse in the US$.

(Gordon Brown should be shot for what he did with ours. What's betting we'll be a buyer soon, at 5 times the price he sold it for!)

Gedabek - Geological update...period to 30 June 2018

The Group's three-year geological exploration programme commenced during the year. The major results from the programme for the six months to 30 June 2018 are as follows:

· There is increased confidence in the short to medium term production profile at the Gadir underground mine ("Gadir") following confirmation of continuation of the Gadir ore-body down-dip and potentially along strike.

· Significant gold grades of up to three ounces per tonne (93 grammes per tonne) were intersected in drilling and confirmed by underground tunneling at Gadir.

· Numerous areas of high grade mineralisation adjacent to the current Gadir operation were identified. It is expected a resource and reserve estimate for Gadir will be published in Q4 2018.

· Additional mineralisation beneath the Gedabek open pit was confirmed which will be the subject of further underground evaluation accessed by tunnels developed from the Gadir mine.

· Extensive alteration zones of porphyry style previously discovered at Ordubad with confirmation of copper and gold mineralisation, are now the subject of an extensive geochemical sampling programme.
