16/1/2018 08:23 | Guessing we also get an exploration/ operations update in around 10 days based on the last couple of quarters ... | catsick
16/1/2018 08:22 | I got some through HL and also bought some TAP and both transactions have been reported twice. So there was only one 20,000 buy. | mad foetus
16/1/2018 08:21 | Some mainstream media visibility would help the price. Very good news, $16.3 million debt reduction is impressive. | puntogt
16/1/2018 08:21 | I will have to top up on any dips, which is not looking likely, but you never know, this is aim after all | return_of_the_apeman
16/1/2018 08:20 | I suspect its temporary rota. They're just nervous about where to price it. It was the same last week, ultimately if you pay, you can get the shares | jbravo2
16/1/2018 08:20 | 50p soon , which would be a pe around 2 based on the last quarters cash generation | catsick

16/1/2018 08:19 | Mad who are you with? I can't get f'all | return_of_the_apeman
16/1/2018 08:19 | I got 20,000 at sub 44 so am happy with that top up. Someone else did the same thing at the same time: don't know why the MMs will sell 2 lots of 20,000 at 44 but not 40,000 at that price. Should get a discount for buying in bulk! This is only going one way, fantastic announcement. | mad foetus
16/1/2018 08:17 | Thought they were supposed to make a market not kill it Limit orders may be the only way for now | return_of_the_apeman
16/1/2018 08:15 | Well said loafofbread Oh so cheap. Debt is effectively done now. I suspect it will be restructured before the next payment due in February, probably close to the due date, to push out the payments and create free cash flow to pay for all the work. No more borrowing to pay for expansions. As he says, creating real value for shareholders. Going to be the best year ever for AAZ... and shareholders. Yeah you wait mad foetus... drop Brent a line too... he did the same at 36p. No seriously, we all have to make our own decisions. I'm sure your other irons are as nailed on as this. Could you let us know what they are please? Edit: Spread tightening... perhaps someone already had them mad. | jbravo2
16/1/2018 08:15 | I tried to buy 40,000 shares and have been quoted 45p to do so. I am sorely tempted but may wait as I have other irons in the fire today. | mad foetus
16/1/2018 08:14 | Q4 figures annualised, give: 88,000oz Au, 190,000oz Ag, 477t Cu with Gedaek due back online in Q1 & the new crusher in Q2. | mattjos
16/1/2018 08:14 | Mms have f all stock, can only get 1k volume to buy since open at full price of 44p but they will take all off me at 42.5p | return_of_the_apeman
16/1/2018 08:12 | Excellent results, with Aaz commenting... "Anglo Asian is continuing to lay the foundations for long term sustainable production growth and to deliver value to its shareholders. Mining is expected to recommence at our main open pit at Gedabek in the near-term together with the installation of a second, dedicated crusher line for the flotation plant. These should significantly enhance our production profile throughout 2018. I look forward to providing further updates on forecast 2018 production and expansion and exploration objectives in the coming weeks." Mid tier production here we come... | bleepy
16/1/2018 08:10 | Net debt only $14.4-mn after deduct Reza's $3.9-mn soft loan. Bring on the crusher! + more flotation tanks please. Not a lot of selling on-the-news ...yet. How long until the vital exploration/dev. update....? | 2sporrans
16/1/2018 08:06 | Profit of $28M on a MCap of $65M (plus $18M debt)? So $30M on $85M? Sounds rather cheap. | loafofbread
16/1/2018 08:00 | Good spot Catsick, which gives a conservative estimate of 28m profit for the year we are now in. With all the improvements to come online thus could be much higher Quality outfit | return_of_the_apeman
16/1/2018 07:53 | Wow. AAZs best ever quarter. :) | brasso3
16/1/2018 07:52 | Very pleased with this Debt reduced by 47%. The Company had net debt at 31 December 2017 of $18.3 million, a reduction of $16.3 million since 31 December 2016. Net profit was $6.78m last year so this is an increase of circa 2.5 times from last year's results We need to calculate a profit projection and a forward pe so that we can tell what the broker upgrades should be when they get round to sharpening their pencils | return_of_the_apeman
16/1/2018 07:51 | Outstanding update: production at the top end of the range, halving of debt & further improved production numbers expected this year based on Q4 output- Hence why I selected it in my top 5 smallcaps for 2018 | yasx
