11/1/2018 11:34 | Hi Brasso Also has the industry average which is a bit higher than I quoted, however you should never trust anyone else's calculations, especially mine | return_of_the_apeman
11/1/2018 11:11 | SP Angel Morning News, Company News: Anglo Asian Mining* (AAZ LN) 42p, Mkt Cap £47m – CEO loan update • The Company agreed with Reza Vaziri, CEO and major shareholder at Anglo Asian, to extend the term of the loan and decrease the interest rate. • The term of the $4m loan facility with the balance currently standing at $3.9m has been moved to 8 Jan/19 from the previous 8 Jan/19. • The interest rate has been reduced to 7% from previous 10%. Conclusion: Rescheduling of the loan is a welcome development as the Company continues with repayments to Amsterdam Trade Bank and Gazprombank which amount to c.$5m per 6m with outstanding balance of $9.8m as of Sep/17. The latest operational update showed an acceleration in gold production rates led by the start of production at Ugur bringing total GE output in the first nine months of 2017 to 48.3koz and putting the Company on course to reach the guided 64-72koz GE target. | mattjos
11/1/2018 11:10 | Apologies for O/T regarding HGM:- Mkt Cap - £550M 2017 Production - 250k oz 2017 Revenue - ~£320m How have you worked out your PE ratio on that one! I would be happy to see AAZ at a PE of around 5-10 which I think is more typical across the AIM spectrum | brasso3
11/1/2018 11:09 | Phew....a pause. Yes jbe, there's a stack of news about to be released. As a minimum, tomorrow, Monday, Tues. 16th....the Q4 Production/Operation Also revealing will be the production from the secondary [copper rich / sulphide ores] stream flotation->SART process train; both the quantity and % recovery of the copper [silver] + if we're lucky an idea of what expansion a new crusher would enable. Ditto additional flotation tank[s] Maybe update on tailings dam, pipe to plant, main pit remodelling ....etc. We'll also get the latest AISC estimate. Expect too, the debt and paydown; guess it's now sub $20-mn; perhaps even an intention to reschedule ....at lower rate [just like Reza!]. But imho it's the drilling/exploration We've had a lot of indicative information but there's a lot we don't yet know for sure; especially wrt the resource below/adjacent to the main pit, pivotal to 2018-19 production ramp up. The production/operation news is unlikely to present us with any great surprises; this news may well do, depending I guess upon our individual expectations and convictions thereof. Additionally, AAZ tell us they will release a 3 year exploration programme, tied into production [plant/infrastructur Although we were advised this would be released by end of 2017, it makes sense that the programme compilation follows the drilling/exploration Fwliw, I expect a drilling/exploration The former news is so important it ought to be released separately. If so, the extent to which there is a sell off following the Q4 p/o news will indicate how many of this week's buyers are short term traders rather than investors who have carefully researched. | 2sporrans

11/1/2018 11:00 | Good to see some new contributors. Take a lucrative hour to read some of the historic posts over at least the last six months. That will convince you it was a good decision to visit this board. | gutterhead
11/1/2018 10:53 | Find me an AIM stock that has a PE above 10. | brasso3
11/1/2018 10:50 | Brasso, Rangold Resources on a pe of nearly 40! Can't find the source of the average, but remember the figure quoted, as always happy to be proved wrong, everyday is a school day for me | return_of_the_apeman
11/1/2018 10:27 | JBRAVO2, I better build a small warehouse....with all the people I have put in to this stock over the last 12 years... Or better, I will take quality red wine...and stick it in the seller. LOL | terropol
11/1/2018 10:26 | I do not think there are many miners on PEs of 13.6! | brasso3
11/1/2018 10:22 | Baae, after the results I an expecting there to move more interest in this starting with the brokers sharpening their pencils- average pe for miners is 13.6 I think and the average miner does not make this proportion of profit Each to their own, but I think the real rerate will follow the results | return_of_the_apeman
11/1/2018 09:39 | folk will be all over this one the first pullback | mattjos
11/1/2018 09:38 | Agreed jbe. I do too. And I shall, as promised, send him a nice present if he is willing to receive one when I start to sell. It was him who first mentioned AAZ to me. At the moment though he'll have to wait a while. This is the year I've waited for and that doesn't mean I'm selling this year, just that this year I expect the most action in the share price Seems right so far. | jbravo2
11/1/2018 09:34 | For sure there will be traders, a profit is a profit, but they will miss out and in a couple of days be forgotten about. Poor Resourceful! Although I do fell genuinely sorry for zhockey. | jbe81
11/1/2018 09:31 | I don't want to sell any either. But whilst we are motoring why spoil it ? | basem1
11/1/2018 09:30 | I had forgotten about Zhockey and Resourceful. I bet those two are kicking themselves! | brasso3
11/1/2018 09:29 | Basem which news do you want to sell before? Q4 results? drilling results? Announcement of dividends? For sure it wont go up in a straight line but the trend will be upwards for sometime. | jbe81
11/1/2018 09:28 | @basem But theres always going to be sellers. Thats ok. We need people deciding "thats enough for me I'm out". It's natural. If the investment case is good enough they get replaced by greater numbers of buyers. Ask resourceful. Ask mr hockey. The sellers can join that list. At least they'll have made a profit. I'm not too sure those two made much. As jbe says, most of us on this thread understand the bigger picture. Whether it be the repeated meetings with the board, the visit to the mine by a couple of posters, or just frankly reading the stuff posted on here, there are plenty of long term holders here til the final result. That doesn't mean Q4 results or anything like that. We've seen Reza meeting in Mongolia. Whats the next move for the company? | jbravo2
11/1/2018 09:28 | re. 10548 ... lol. Suggest you familiarise yourself with the stock rather more & then realise that there is more than one newsitem to be released. Yes, the chimps will no doubt take their 20% and move on happy & then rue that action shortly thereafter | mattjos
11/1/2018 09:22 | jbravo2- Just had a look at the Tiny Titans screen, I have only 3 of them ,very impressive returns | malcolmmm
