06/1/2018 11:35 | Ah, welcome back el_dud. You were on quite a roll with your calls on the POG when you disappeared. It didn't quite pan out from that point on. Interesting to see if you can get back on track. Think you've resurfaced at an interesting time. | jbravo2
05/1/2018 21:54 | Welcome back to the thread El-Dud.Good time to get reacquainted with events | mattjos
05/1/2018 20:57 | Wow been away since October. What have I missed? Crazy world of crypto currency’s taking centre stage but still invested here. | el_duderino_7885
05/1/2018 19:50 | Yep, cant see there is enough supply for the demand post q4 results, thats ignoring any drilling results. Should be a huge rerating. | jbe81
05/1/2018 19:39 | Seller is exactly matching the buyers for last few days ... price is being held at 33 intentionally.Just as it was held at 19p years ago for a couple of weeks, before it broke out. | mattjos
05/1/2018 15:23 | I've just topped up with 14,991 at 33.30p and 33,009 at 33.40p. Woo hoo! | davidspringbank
05/1/2018 13:55 | agreed. certainly no rationale for gold to fall back in price on that data | mattjos
05/1/2018 13:31 | Those figures are just out should mean that POG should move up ! | jeanesy
05/1/2018 09:52 | Volume seems to be picking up a bit. POG having a breather ahead of us payroll figures. | jeanesy
05/1/2018 08:58 | Wouldnt be surprised if we got drilling results next week, dont think they will be released with q4 results. | jbe81
04/1/2018 19:53 | Patience will be rewarded matt! | cannonfodd3r

03/1/2018 21:35 | yes, been watching AAZ on Stockopedia for a while now jbravo. Lots of analytical tools on the site. One I like to look at is their 'Value any stock' tool. If we look at AAZ for two sensible metrics as at today's closing price: Tangible Book Valuation: Current sp: 33p ... Implied Value: 49.11p Relative to Sector Valuation: Current sp: 33p ... Implied Value: 74.96p (versus median value of peer group in Metals & Mining sector) That might help you cyberbub. It is hard to find a metric on which AAZ is NOT undervalued! Any you do find are based on data that is simply out of date and you'll have to wait for the FY results before they update. | mattjos
03/1/2018 20:41 | Production so far this winter has been carried out in very benign weather. Long may that continue in what are normally very cold conditions that do normally affect the figures in the first quarter. Temperatures have appeared to be much warmer than normal so far !! | jeanesy
03/1/2018 20:37 | So with $45M in gross profits are people thinking AAZ could hit say 200p in the next year or so? Look at CMCL where the whole Blanket mine is producing 50k Oz with an AISC at $930, and is valued at £120M and a broker target of pushing £200M, is that a good comparator? | cyberbub
03/1/2018 18:27 | its not easy to see the details exactly but, here is a monthly chart for AAZ since IPO. There are actually two trend lines on here .. a red one which connects the Daily Candlestick peaks and a Purple one, which connects the Weekly Candlestick peaks. On a monthly chart resolution though, they are so close together as to be indistinguishable However, I think the emerging picture looks fairly clear, even if you are not a chartist / interested in TA .... the 11.5 year down trend is now on the verge of being breached & this is the month in which it looks likely to happen. This kind of chart pattern can be classified several ways but, no matter which of the classifications you pick, the confirmed breakout from this downtrend is going to signal some very attractive target prices. I'll not go into any of the theory as it seems more than 50% of the regulars here prefer to use financial analysis .. those that are interested will see and know the targets anyway. On both a daily and weekly basis, it has now broken out .. the monthly chart shows it is poking its head through just now ... next update should prove to be the clincher & the catalyst for the necessary volume. Been a long, long time coming but, very close now. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | mattjos
03/1/2018 17:22 | Well gutterhead, even if he does, I won't. Seems entirely realistic to me. The numbers, the logic, the case. It is so strong it can't be denied! | jbravo2
03/1/2018 17:21 | If they do 65k oz GEO and if AISC is still $564 and if gold average is $1250 we could be sniffing at $45 mil generated. Current market Cap under £39 mil or around $53 mil. Under valued ? | puntogt
03/1/2018 17:17 | Jeanesy, I think you're spot on. Eventually, the market valuations will end up right. Sooner would be nice, but the knowledge on this board is quite confined. The CEO has a lot of skin in the game and unusually for an AIM Boss, is putting his energy into building the company rather than talking it up. I really get the feeling that this is going to move quickly with a little bit of momentum and good news. 80p and a 1.5p dividend, marvellous (Matt, you will prob say I am being a smidge optimistic again!) | gutterhead
03/1/2018 16:41 | Yes the cashflow is going to be fabulous. It's going to be very apparent to all where the dividends are going to come from. Operating cashflow was $34m in 2016. 2017 will be better. :) STUPEFYINGLY CHEAP. | jbravo2
03/1/2018 16:27 | unlike most of the penniless explorers on AIM, we don't have to keep 'fluffing' the share price ahead of the next fundraising. AAZ have been pretty consistent across the whole of the year as to their Gold Equivalent production target for the FY. Anywhere in that ballpark will have created super cashflow &, as jbravo says, we are well past the peak repayment schedule. | mattjos |
