Terropol technically another failed breakout means gold is likely to retest the uptrend line from late 2015 over the next few months. This would put it back below $1,200.

I'm not saying this has to happen but it is a real risk everyone should be aware of.

Exactly, I'm very happy with gold over 1200, its doing wonders for the company.

If the company made one $2.5m payment to the share holders... That would be about 10% yield....
That gives you a prospective on our undervaluation...

El_duderino, if gold keeps at this level we are quite happy.
Any more just a big bonus.

Grrrr gold back in the pennant - another failed breakout.

Some serious manipulation going on in the thinly trades late market hours to force both gold and silver down. Really is outrageous.

We'l have to see how we trade these next few days.

The 20k wasnt in the 8.50 auction, interesting to see now if the share price shoots up or it reappears later.

Spot on summary jbravo. Could not agree more. Beyond me why more folk have not yet twigged this but, hey, that's ok ... am still picking up £1 coins here for 22p :-). The herd will arrive on a news item at some point in next 12 months.Get the debt down to under $5m or so, consolidate and re-finance it at 6-7% for a 5 year term. The PSA terms mean we'd be daft not to have some debt.This is a productive, profitable ...... & very much a growth company. Reza and Stephen have made that clear.Next target is clearly 100koz equivalent & we could be thereabouts by year end ... latest spring into summer next year.When gold breaks and bases above $1,300 then, we'll have the gold herd here also :-)

Yes matt the reduction in debt and interest has become a virtuous circle.
That combined with the cost savings they've worked hard to bring through the electricity plant and the flotation plant reducing chemical spend amongst other things mean we paid off net debt after the weakest production numbers in H1 for years.

If we get H2 to bring in the target numbers then we'll be as good as home on the debt. Bill has told me they may not run the debt to zero and may start to prioritise other things once its low enough.

We should be about to see a run to the highs of last year, but the MM's have just got to leak the remnants of the directors shares to their buyer first. They're pointing the way its going to move though.
Once the buyer has soaked up these freebies they'll have to move the share price a few pence to shake out the next round of stale bulls to supply him. There aren't too many left at under 22p as demonstrated the last few days.
They were offering 22.1p for 100k at one point today.

agree jbravo .. another $2.5m off the debt this month & another $250k off the annual interest load.

Gold just needs to burst that 1297 level and then should prove support as the next retracement level is gained back

They're disclosed after the close as that's when they take place. They're not delayed.
A couple of months ago we were seeing significant buying after the close too.
I'm sure people have their own theories about why this is happening so much this last year. I know I do :)

Yes, welcome jailbird. If I'm right it won't matter if you're in at low 20's, high 20's or even over 50p for that matter.
If I'm wrong then I'll just be relying on the ever improving base case here.
i.e. continue to mine, continue to pay debt off, continue to explore and find new resources bit by bit.
This month we make another ATB payment. That'll leave only 4.
We're in the strong half for production now too so expect an appreciating share price til January.

Can sell 100k at over 22p.
Difficult to buy.

Not surprising after the drop yesterday on a net buying day (marginally and on small volume mind)

Wonder if the orders are in for the after hours purchases?

no idea what goes on in these auctions but, I think a lot of these indicated trades are actually MM's rebalancing stock between themsleves

Well L2 was 2v2 this morning I see WINS has moved up now , so 3v1Interesting WINS moved up after the 35k trade at 21pIt appears that may have been a buy but looks like a sell?

Like you say it's finally showing a break out on this version too which is good news.

El_d .. I agree personally but, trying to be as conservative as I possibly can to stem any possible detractors. For me, the breakout is clear on the daily, weekly and monthly charts.Most will not believe the breakout until the 1300 zone of resistance finally crumbles & that is fair enough. A breakout beyond previous reaction high is the validation most want to see

Mattjos, that chart should be altered slightly IMO.

The trend line should be from the 2011 peak to the peak of the first wick in October 2012.

I can see why you drew it like that as it's the line of best fit but the original trend line intersecting the October 2012 high shouldn't be changed (or trend lines would never be broke as we would constantly just be changing them to fit new data).

If you re-draw it the way I suggest you can see the break out is much more evident.
