Quite a shuffle of stock today. Very unusual for price not to change on a 1m volume day. Seems to suggest it is being pegged here by the dominant market maker.Not long to go now and another $2.5m will come off the debt in February

yep, have been some big trades recently. There also seems to be a shift in attitude towards gold, with more keen to be long.

That late (from this morning) print of 100k at 22.75 kinda proves my point - 1.75p outside the quoted spread at the time! Daylight robbery/lousy execution or a combination there of. Anyway, moan over :)

Mattjos - maybe their stance isn't stock specific and a wider view on POG? It does annoy me when they 'control' the price and then moan when you buy...!

Mattjos - Cantor continue to bid in size, whilst sitting on the offer. Stock actually bid all round the tracks this am, I managed to pick up 25k at 20.50 on the dip last week. Purposely rang Cantor to fill the order (who were the ones sat on the offer at 20.50). They weren't happy. They call the shots here, so I guess expect more of the same while things are quiet.

Looks like we need some unexpected good news - here's hoping otherwise below 20p next week looks certain. I thought that the POG was supposed to rise into Chinese new year which is today as they all buy into it.

Looks like we have broken downwards on the trend line. I hope 20p holds next week. Hard to see where the next news will be now. AAZ still making big profits at the end of the day.

Bleepy .. that is plain wrong!The govt does not own any of AAZ.Where on earth did you get that from??250k is one of the largest single transactions in this stock for a very long time &, if as it seems a Buy then, someone is indeed being cagey and picking them up during a dull spell.
