""There can only ever be 21 million coins issued. Of which 19.95 million have already been created so only about 5% are left to be mined around the whole world. I understand,,, but, why, if, another BTC is set up with say, a max of 10 million coins, to be issued by 2350,,,, same algo, different end goal & timescale etc,,, would investors not move from BTC to BTC2,,, I just don't get it... soz :-)

One last thing, a lot of people - often young though not always - mistake price for value. It’s a potentially big mistake to make in this game, and indeed life. |
I totally agree with your sentiment Bumpa. I love the way you express yourself. 👌👍
Oh' I have just poured myself a bit tot. I will lift the glass to you Bumpa. ATB. |
Bumpa' I really enjoyed that second link you put on regarding Vance 😂 |
No M/F it is the old peoples logic !! Don't buy anything you can't touch and feel. Regarding feel !!! I won't go into that.😂 |

Seeing as its the weekend. And seeing as how some posters here keep bringing up the subject of Bitcoin (mainly to tell us all how much they disbelieve in it)…
Lets look at the long term chart, going back to the start when BTC was just $0.29. Logarithmic scales show the trend well...
Having hit the bottom of the channel in 2023 it's climbed back to the median. History shows that the following rise up to meet resistance is usually at a faster rate. My guess is that this will most likely occur at the start of 2026. That would equal $511,000. Or a 5 bagger in one year from now...
Of course, It might be slower and not hit until a year later. That would equal over $700,000. Or a 7 bagger in two years.
The chart also shows that you'd be better off selling out for a couple of years after each peak before getting back in. But overall the trend is clear to see.
Further out you can see it hitting $1 million in 2028 and $10 million per BTC by 2040 - which would be a 100 bagger from here.
There are none of the uncertainties inherent in stocks and metals. Just supply and demand. There can only ever be 21 million coins issued. Of which 19.95 million have already been created so only about 5% are left to be mined around the whole world. The supply is guaranteed to keep diminishing in line with the algorithms, with the last coin estimated not to be mined until 2140. Can't think a better asset to have at least some of your money in. |
Guys' let's see what News we get from the Co. This month. Also if that News affects the shareprice. I personally am not in any rush, there is plenty news due in the pipeline so I am well relaxed about my investment in AAZ.
Oh' Brasso' I have nothing against people that hold Bit Coin investments. I wish them all the best. I personally would not ever be tempted to invest in something that I don't believe in. GLA in whatever you have your investments in. ATB. |
thanx Brasso, will take a look :-) Cheers Wan :-) |
People have already copied/ folked the BTC algorithm and they all have failed relative to BTC:-
BSV - Bitcoin Satoshi Vision BCH - Bitcoin Cash LTC - Litecoin

many thanx B3,, fingers crossed you and everyone else involved are correct and little old me is wrong :-) :-),,,, but, why can't someone simply start BTC2, same algo, but, with half the total number of coins to be mined,,, wouldn't that coin automatically be worth 2x BTC1 and then another at a quarter the total number of coins being mined, be worth BTC3 = 4xBTC1 and so on... if it's to do with scarcity that is!?
you can't mine enough Gold, quick enough to do the same,,, when you compare gold in the ground versus gold above the ground,,,, to me, anyhow....
Copper, sure, not so scarce, hence, not so valuable...
Is BTC a commodity, a currency or really nothing at all ?

Good afternoon all, Cheers Wan :-) |
