There's a new MM on the books. We're up to 7 now. They were after 7500 shares to start them off @ 116 I could buy them back for 115.4 netting me the grand total of £39 after charges :D Hardly worth it, but just helping out the noob. |
aha, 30K+ AAZ sell just printed,, that explains it :-) LOL :-)
buyers have come in on it :-) :-)
edit,, no,,,,, actually, they are sells too :-) LOL :-)
oh what a game this is LOL |
indeed, wowzer, thanx for the heads up SuW :-)
must say AiE, I do find it tough, most mornings these days,, to sit on my AAZ holding whilst seeing charts like BOOM,,, thinking about the lost opportunity!!! but, AAZ moves fast on tiny volume when market conditions are right,, so it's all a bit "Tortoise and the Hare" for me and I rationalise that against risk,,,, in order to stick with my AAZ investment... but, that's just me and my take,,, others will undoubtedly say I must be nuts!!!
Also, I've chased a lot of stocks in my time at this game and suffered the consequences, often :-) LOL :-)
Cheers Wan :-) |
Podcast publisher Audioboom LSE:BOOM has done very well over the last 4 months...
But seeing the bigger picture shows where it could be going.
Cavendish already have £13 target price. But the inevitable takeover could be much higher imo |
I like AAZ Wan so I would like to hold / trade it longer term. For now I’m sitting on my hands but may be tempted out of some if the price rises from here. Unless a sudden need for money comes along in the meantime…. |
too early to say really AiE, a seller wanted some away above 110p again,,, see what they & buyers do next :-) ,,,, I haven't tested this,,, but, I would think the seller could be doing better by selling smaller chunks at a better price,, so, perhaps they have a lot to sell and are not much bothered, just want them gone above 110p (their target)...
what is your AAZ investment horizon AiE,,, are you looking to get out, sell some soon or thinking much longer term & just following the short term action as I tend to do ?
Cheers Wan :-) |
Bumpa, re KMK just think he could be in trouble if there is another contract or Premier Miton decide to buy a few more. |
JBE - yes, probably just a trade, but the setup looks good to push on. Let’s see. As for Jacknife, he’s good but not infallible. I can see both sides of the argument on KMK… |
FRG flying this morning :) |
Nice Bunpa, think it does very well this year but know you like to trade. There is a big mining conference in Zambia in a months time.
In the same interview with Gervais he covers KMK at 29 mins, is also bullish and explains revenue streams. Think Jacknife is in for a rough ride if he is still shorting . |
AAZ looking weaker this morning? 13629 Sell at 110.166 on AQSE |
XSG - now doubled since mentioning it here. |
morning. Took some FRG first thing, not easy - had to ring round and managed just 200k split, average 4.84. Well flagged JBE 👍 like the Gervaise piece, like the chart. |
Good morning all, Cheers Wan :-) |
2sporrans - thanks I value your input. Time will always tell. |

Well, there's a few considerations. Digger has touched upon one, the probable need to extend the tailings facility.
For me, the recruitment + training of a sizeable new workforce [several hundred workers] to replace the departed [never to return] one is the highly probable critical determinant. Many [most?] will come from far and wide; settlement/resettlement in tandem with Azergov programmes and assistance will be quite a consideration. I expect this to form the chronological "Critical path", in project programming parlance. I have posted on this recently; you, LLB and i exchanged views on this matter, did we not?
Whatever, you can completely disregard anything I've opined on.....but i suggest you ought to read through the 2 analysts reports [Ben Jones and SPA] that came out last autumn:
Perhaps you already have? But disregarded their 2026 ko forecasts.
Ben Jones: "We expect Demirli to contribute 20kt copper per year over a 10-year mine life, beginning 2026" SP Angel "Major revision to our valuation is primarily driven by a significant upgrade to the Demirli contribution, with management aiming to resume production at the copper molybdenum porphyry operation as early as 2026."
Admittedly, the latest AAZ presentation [October]:
doesn't give any timeframe for either the completion of a number of pre-production tasks, nor a production ko date. So, one is 'free' to guesstimate on those.
The previous one [June] did indicate "development" to ko in roughly Q2 2025, see page 20:
More specifically: "Plant repair and refurbishment time estimated to be 9 months."
No estimate was given in October.
It is not impossible that 9 months is now, say 6.....from 'now'. But likely? And what about all the other tasks to be completed before prod. ko? |
thanks jbe81 i had seen that but been too busy at work to listen yet. |
AAZ, bid still creeping up. Last few times we hit £1.20 resistance it was on spikes? Seems different at the moment so I’m still sitting on hands. |
Jeansey, hopefully today’s rise is just the start. Think it is mainly down to a very bullish mention by Gervais Williams of Premier Miton, who recently increased there position. Risk reward is truely astonishing. Interview is on my last post if you haven’t seen it |
Lets hope that today's rise in shareprice in FRG is a prelude to that imminent news that was promised a while ago. |
Trump hosting Jordan's King,,, that'll be interesting !!! |
yes, as someone said, they are both the fireman & the arsonist :-) :-)
yes, an increase in M2 of 40% !!!
good for Gold though :-) |
what a cretin ... Surely an 'independent' central bank should be much, much firmer with its advice / guidance to the government as to the consequence of their actions.
'the longer we wait to deal with is ...' these are the idiots that ran QE for far, far longer than they should have done and then didn't see the consequential & wholly inevitable rise in prices.
The correct defintion of inflation is an increase in the money supply (which they created) which then results in a general increase in the price for goods & services.
Price increases are the symptom.
Anyway, lets see if today's price action in Gold is the brief dip back / re-test of the $2,900 level to check for support. That would be entirely commonplace. |
he was also asked,,,, so long as you are FED Chairman,,, can you assure me that we will never have a central bank digital currency? answer, YES... |
Sounds like he is on the same page as Trump. Cut spending boost growth. That will cut the deficit. |
