indeed cmb,,, but, many many many books will not be anywhere near as interesting as yours :-) |
having said all that and I mean it; I feel like a leech sat here tonight, with my bloated AAZ holding, expecting Reza, Bill, Stephen & the team to do all the work and make me wealthy,,, seems wrong,, but,, let's see,,, will my/our strategy work or not,,, I've no idea really,,, but,, it still looks like a good punt to me,,, great team, great assets, country & president behind them (for now), a product with a rising selling price etc etc etc.... crazy old world,,, fingers crossed for us all.... :-) :-)
Cheers Wan :-) |
Wan' time is not at all a problem for me. The book will contain bits of my life. My business life, my love life that has been very interesting lately !! Childhood life etc, etc. I will start of with the start of my business life and how it started off. My daughter actually bought me a video camera to do my stories on that. She wants video diaries on it. In the end Wan' everyone has a book of their lives. |
the two of you are kindred spirits with very similar experiences by the sounds of it,,, separated only by time,,, but, seemingly facing exactly the same challenges albeit decades apart... very well done to the both of you, utmost respect guys...
Cheers Wan :-) |
Matt 'thank you for that. I do use charting in my investments,it is another tool that over the years have been very useful to me personally. Others may look at it as tea leaves reading. |
from now onwards, will try to up a chart at the end of each week and highlight what i see as important. Here's current dynamic. The Doji Candle at 118.5p from 27.3.2023 looks a significant one (hilited here with red arrow).
I am looking for a volume backed price break from this level to indicate we're are finally clearing this long consolidation:
Some will keep buying on weakness below this level & others will determine to only buy the breakout from this level since it is a major price point on the longer term chart (effectively the peak of 'B' during the prior major A,B,C retrace). |
cmb,,, if you have the time,,, I think there's a good book in you!!!! recounting your life story,,, incredible.... Cheers Wan :-) |
Wan' I am an open book. If you have any questions feel free to ask. This weekend I will tell you a story of my first job interview and the results later. |
point is Mj, you have built that team around you and that’s not easily done,,, very well done to you,, Cheers Wan :-)
edit,,,, and I'd say, there are a lot of inventors out there who come up with good stuff,,,, but, can they build a successful business, build a team and so on,,,,,, generally speaking, I'd say not..... :-) :-) |
Matt' well and clearly stated the burocratic minefield one has to endure currently running an export business. Admin and more of it !!! Sadly to say the least. Thank you for taking the time to explain to others on this thread as to what a minefield it currently is. Enough said. ATB. |
You have to ask the people who did not have a Silver Soon in their mouth. I was personally born in a middle class family. Though I left home at the age of around 17.5 years. To get fourter education !! I did not do that until at a later date. I was young and wanted to enjoy my freedom from a reasonably strict life of a youngster. It is a long story Wan. In the end I did educate myself. When burden of marriage and married life made me think again. I worked as a bus driver for quite a few years. Here I am today.😜 |
Exactly cmb, how many have the guts to do that!!! |
Yes Wan' opening any small businesses carried risk opening it. To get a loan from the bank I had to put my house on the line !! Lucky for me the bank manger at the time understood my plan. Other wise I would have continued from home. I started off by doing service work for electronic shops that used to do repairs for home appliances from home. I was of a few who knew how to use an Oscilloscope in electronics engineering. First thing I did was to borrow money from the bank and buy best class test equipment before I set up my business from home. |
I admire people who take personal risk to create profitable businesses, creating jobs and tax revenues for the country... Especially those who actually manufacture in the UK, more so than service businesses who have their place, but could not survive without those that invent, create, manufacture and sell their products worldwide!!! Good on you all for putting your necks on the line for the rest of us :-) Cheers Wan :-) |
Some very exciting intelligent debate has taken place on this thread gents. Thank you all. |
thanx jb2, appreciate the L2 heads up :-) :-) |
Meanwhile... back with the important stuff. Already only 2 MM's quoting for 10k of stock below 115. Tightened again today. 2 @113.x Next one over 118! |
agree 100%. Just as printing money debauches currency so too printing degrees debauches the worth of a degree. Most of them should never have been altered from Technical Colleges. Now we have a surplus of youngsters with pretty worthless degrees but a sense that having a degree entitles them to something more and at same time, next to zero decent tradespeople. It's tradespeople who can earn far more now than most of the graduates can. |
I'm not a boomer and I'd blame student debt on Blair before Thatcher.
it was actually the Universities themselves that approached Blair, as they were being left behind by the US and elsewhere |
