19/4/2016 09:12 | Blimey jeanesy. You seem to be worrying about this constantly. I'd say news is a day nearer than yesterday. It can't be too far off now. But I reckon I have a bit more patience than you. It may be a few weeks rather than hours. | jbravo2
19/4/2016 08:30 | Silver breakout. Gold to follow? The new Shangai gold exchange should help with the gold price manipulation in the long term. | ilostthelot
18/4/2016 19:46 | We need to get some positive news otherwise this will slip downwards again. Heres hoping it is not too far away!! | jeanesy
18/4/2016 15:49 | It would be great if they can find one of those Ordubad elephant fields mentioned in the IPO doc. | zhockey
18/4/2016 15:37 | Interim results for the six month period to 30 June 2015 Exploration and development We also are continuing to develop the greater Gedabek area with the aim of delineating further resources and reserves to increase the life of mine of the operation. We are also continuing our exploration of the Ordubad property. From recollection, exploration at Ordubad was to be completed by spring of this year, so expecting update as well as progress on Gedabek resource and reserves. | bleepy
18/4/2016 14:50 | jbravo .. can you use the ADVFN messaging service? | mattjos
18/4/2016 14:41 | :) hi zh, yeah I know it has. I've not commented on it much before because, as you say it's always been there. I just have a strange feeling that, like you say, now is the time with sentiment being so poor, and that the AGM may be a deadline they'd want to beat if they were working on something. Whether that could be managed of course would depend on any negotiations that would be happening. :) | jbravo2
18/4/2016 14:38 | really was a staggering performance on silver production in the last quarter. The last broker note suggested Ag production this year of circa 113koz at average $16/oz from flotation. Will be very interesting to see how silver goes in this next quarter now that winter is passed. | mattjos
18/4/2016 14:31 | JB I would be very happy to hear that news but that footer has been on every rns for as long as I can remember. Now would seem an ideal time to strike deals whilst sentiment is still pretty poor. | zhockey
18/4/2016 14:15 | @zhockey: I'd guess exploration is currently ongoing at Gedabey. I'd imagine they might have identified a few prospects that would need extra drilling at the moment. So if that is happening I'd have my fingers crossed that drilling goes well. @anyone else interested: The latest RNS re-iterates the goal of making AAZ a mid tier gold and copper producer. I'd imagine that they would need another prospect to achieve that. The company would probably want to get news about something like that out before the AGM so long as they could get negotiations completed by then. That would be my guess anyway. If that was the case I'd make sure I was buying more before the AGM. So I have over the last 3 weeks. | jbravo2
15/4/2016 16:49 | silver looks to me like the C&H on the chart will have it nearer $18 soon. That's another 15-20% higher than we will have achieved since Dec 2015 | mattjos
15/4/2016 16:26 | I agree Matt. I've always been of the opinion that as and when the debt is reduced the market cap will rise with it. That's if they maintain the resource size with Exploration. So by the time the debt is close to zero you'd like to think they'll be mining over 100,000 ozs per year the Share holders would get 49 % of that which will also be taxed heavily. It's undervalued for sure. What would fair value today be? | ilostthelot
15/4/2016 07:17 | Thanks a lot guys. | philo124
14/4/2016 23:17 | mkt cap still remains absolutely paltry at £7.5m ($10.5m). What the news piece does tell us is that not only is the company servicing its debts but, it is also now paying them down & at same time, also managing to spend on CAPEX to maintain the production growth. No idea at what point the market as a whole will recognise this fact but, it will have to do so at some stage this year. EV is circa £41m ($58m). If the mkt cap simply creeps up to that level in lock-step with the rate at which the debt is reduced, that does still indicate the equity value will quintuple from here. | mattjos
14/4/2016 22:47 | Yes but even so, debt will be repaid and are the equity markets not supposed to look ahead? | zhockey
14/4/2016 22:40 | Its the enterprise value that counts. | ilostthelot
14/4/2016 22:32 | Nice chart Brasso. So it looks like $12M credits for copper and silver this year. That is about the current mcap isn't it? | zhockey
14/4/2016 22:24 | Nice, all we need is 10 more Gadir's or Silver to go to $1000/oz. On a serious note I'd like to know what AAZ are doing about exploration. | zhockey
14/4/2016 22:08 | that lot should hugely increase the rate at which they can drill, load and haul the higher grade ore from the Gadir mine to the agitation & flotation plants | mattjos
14/4/2016 19:44 | The thing about the debt is that it could quickly come down as the less debt we have the smaller the interest payments that are due and therefore the quicker the payments will reduce the bottom line and so it will be paid much more rapidly. The key thing is can the POG stay above 1200 long term. | jeanesy
14/4/2016 09:13 | FYI SAG Mill - Semi-Autogenous Grinding Mill A semi-autogenous grinding mill, or Sag mill, is responsible for grinding materials from large chunks into small, usable pieces for processing. The Sag mill is usually part of the primary stage in the grinding process. Pieces of raw or fairly reduced materials are ground into smaller pieces for further processing or sorting. These machines are typically electrically powered, but have been modified from a variety of powering systems over the years. red rook...good post and agree with comments and stated case, aaz have typically under reported and over delivered in the past. Upgrading Gadir with additional new equipment should increase the high grade ore available for flotation plant. The addition of the second sag mill is another step toward increased throughput and meeting their full year targets. | bleepy
14/4/2016 08:39 | I will post an updated production chart later when I get home. The high Silver and Copper has messed up the scale!:) | brasso3 |
