So real money (gold) is now a sell against pretend money (fiat)? The current period feels rather like that situation in 'The Big Short', where the stark staring obvious actually took 18 months for the cows to come home. Lets see where gold is 18 months from now as all that created money does it's work.

AAZ heading lower with the POG again today. With US markets due to open down we could be getting cheaper still . I am watching and waiting . I think a correction could be about to happen across the board.

But fair play to those who are brave enough to play them right

I think that's more about the mentality / make up of those who bought at those levels IMHO. Market much more weighed towards short term money.

I never thought that GAP's would play such a big part of this game cmb,,, but the longer I play it the more I see them fill over and over again,,, especially to the downside,,, it's fascinating stuff really :-) LOL,,, Cheers Wan :-)

Yes,Wan perhaps I should have waited a bit longer to do the top up!!
My average is still quite good. Let's hope it does not close the other gap.
We will just have to wait and see.

On Ordubad.

Just a couple of points:

PSA terms are that all the explo./dev. costs can be offset against profit.
Until they are all recouped, the Azerzi Gov. is entitled to a 12.5% share of production [revenue]; AAZ's 87.5% share is very reasonable.

"Ordubad where AAZ doesn't even know what style system it is (or whether gold/copper as opposed to zinc etc)"

You don't seem to be granting much credence, if any, to the Soviet data or Behre-Dolbear reports which underpinned the IPO.

Do you know, btw, there are 2 large copper or copper/molybdenum mines over the border in Armenia, one less than 10km from the CA; been producing well over a decade.?
Another in Iran, not far away.

Have you read the drilling reports for Ordubad?
It's clear there is a very substantial zone of copper and gold deposits in a quadrant
with Shakadara [valley] at centre. [can't recall how many km2 the quad. is of toh, but several.]
You might have accepted this fact and focused your skepticism e.g. upon the difficulties and costs of mining them in very hilly terrain; the more so should they prove to be very dispersed and few near to surface.
But you haven't.

I hope you don't consider my response to be impolite.

I don't think a man needs to be, we are lucky in that regard. Primark is just fast fashion, cheap fashion and is in the bin after a few outings, awful stuff imo.

My wife tells me that there are already enough clothes in the world to last another six generations, Primark sells more cheap clothing. Pics online of shoppers queuing round the block to snap up bargains. Last place I'd want to be.

RB and Pogue, for sure the government intends to keep folk employed, they might not like the kind of employment but their intentions are to do so. Fairly basic wages i guess. Hope they start with filling in the pot holes !

TXP a long term hold for me as well Wan. Slightly surprised we have not seen a more positive response as yet from the market. Let's see how the day pans out, I suspect if US is down that we may get a chance to add a little lower.

Anybody taking anymore AVCT down here sub 120?

fozzie
