10/6/2020 09:02 | I didn't know the original plan was to start with ordubad. That is interesting. Given the President's roots there I'm sure everyone wants to develop that but as well as exploration there may be lots to negotiate. Grants or lower PSA rates for expedited development etc. Who knows? But to see the BD figures in the paper says something- at the AGM Stephen shied away a little from them but must be more inclined to think that they are the real deal | mad foetus

10/6/2020 08:52 | In terms of the Hardman report I must admit there are far too many unknowns about the future of AAZ in terms of strategy to become a mid tier player to be able to forecast profits until 2030. This has about as much accuracy as trying to predict inflation in 10 years time - a complete waste of time and gives a totally false impression. The truth is we do not KNOW how AAZ will develop in the next few years although personally I am waiting for the “big” news in Ordubad. I think the DCF share price value has no meaning and this is not a professional way of valuing a company. It is better to accept Unknown’s rather than make up numbers. Rant over GLA | thomas11

10/6/2020 07:15 | thanx cmb, hmm, yes, right now it does seem like a 'new world'!! I people being interviewed on TV saying things like,,, we need to get kids back to school as we must get back to normal, almost as if they don't realise that things may have changed for sometime to come and that the new normal that's emerging will not be like the old normal they/we have been used to..... :-) as for me,,,, I'll just rub along with it for now and see how things pan out,,, as for coming back to the UK,,, you are probably better off in Cyprus right now and perhaps through the entire winter,,, just imagine if we have a second wave of cv19 along with a bad flu season this winter,,,, doesn't bare thing about, but it is a possibility.. fingers crossed the authorities will understand your situation and support you out there :-) thanx for the reminder, DTG, here's the chart.. 10/6/2020 06:26 | Anyone notice that the seller was not about much yesterday, but the buyer was mopping up as much as he could. Is it the case that the seller is coming to an end. Or he wants more for his shares. We never really moved yesterday from the price on monday. So a nice rise on the gold price and yet another good report and yet no movement at all? All this news and no reaction, just puts more confidence that the share price is sat on such firm foundations that they are also being under pined and made stronger every week. I am happy to be able to sleep at night and take a yield that will return my investment and more for many years to come.Any increase in Sp now is just an added bonus. | gold finger 1
10/6/2020 03:30 | Very interesting report, will be interesting to see what use the growing cash pile is put to, surely now development of a mine at ordubad can be funded without going into debt again. | catsick
10/6/2020 02:50 | Copper price rallying nicely. Back above pre-covid-collapse level. Same with silver. Gold just doing its thing. It's very satisfying to see $1700 as the new 'norm'. AAZ has never been more profitable. If Hardman's 10.5c divi for 2020 pans out (payable in Oct-20 and Jul-21) that's 8.25 pence. 6.34% for any buyers at 130p. Hopefully that figure wasn't pulled from thin air. I was expecting 4c in Oct-20, then 5-5.5c in Jul-21. Still would've been a healthy ~5.5%. | bozzy_s
09/6/2020 23:38 | Tyou Matt for the summary, the risk reward at current shareprice is looking increasingly favorable. | e43
09/6/2020 21:20 | The clues in the exploration reports and in the latest Hardman report are getting more and more obvious, imo.Gedabek is at the epicentre of a significant Porphyry deposit & the company is in a strong position to both continue highly profitable steady-state production & further its exploration work across both Gedabek & Ordubad CA's to prove up both near-term & long-term development opportunities. There is a very solid foundation in the business in addition to 'known' development opportunities + other opportunities will inevitably cross their desk for review. There are of course never any guarantees but, I'd be rather surprised if amongst all this exploration work, we do not also get a surprise 'turn-up' at some point.I enjoy Paul Mylchreest's style ... he is once again quite conservative in the note but, also highlights the possibilities & potential for upside above his target & a lot of that will have been done in conjunction with Steve Westhead's input / ok & this is very definitely Steve's 'thing' ... he would not have lasted at Polyus had he not been good at it.There is clearly upside from the price of gold alone as both the company & Hardman assume a price which i believe will prove too conservative, particularly by the time we get to Autumn/Winter this year but, for now, conservative forecasting across all fronts is great. Despite the company progress since IPO, there looks to be an awful lot more ahead now than there is behind us & AAZ is going to become a much, much bigger company in the years ahead. I hope I am still holding as many of the shares in 2030 as i am holding today. | mattjos
09/6/2020 20:44 | Wan enjoy the read, as for Centrica, been a long time since I last held that, also perfectly demonstrates why in some instances you can’t hold stocks too long, it clearly broke its trend around 2014/15 and anyone that hung on grimly would have suffered slow torture the last 5/6 years since. Just noticed Albert Bridge acquired more AA. stock last Friday, hope it was from Parvus. | riggerbeautz

09/6/2020 18:12 | I mentioned DTG last week Cmb. Great company, well run, well diversified and selling package holidays and car hire as well as flights now. Share price was just over £19 when all this started. If and its a big if some normality returns I think DTG gets back to £19 over the next few years. All opinions. Sat outside with a good bottle of wine and good company, determined to enjoy the mild weather today as next two to three days meant to rain heavily, bring on July please! | fozzie
09/6/2020 18:01 | Oh' Wan I forgot to mention DTG to you during the crash I did mention it to you it was around £2.50 or their about,it is trading at £1002.0 now. The reason I am mentioning it again is because the shares used to trade around £19+ before the virus. It is a holiday Co ( Jet 2)and I don't think it is not going to be very busy. Perhaps worth having on your watch list as a possible short candidate !! Don't know my self I just thought perhaps RB and you may have a look at it. NAI of course. ATB. | callmebwana
09/6/2020 17:21 | DD, given your views on Hardman's note and valuation basis I would be interested to know how you think a company such as aaz should be valued by the markets? Presumably even though you urge all us misinformed pi's to get out the company does have some inherent value or do you think a suitable discount to NPV is 100%?..... | baddeal
09/6/2020 17:04 | needs to fill the GAP Mr R and the seller/sellers are taking it there,,,, once the GAP is closed and the sellers are gone all should be fine :-) fingers crossed, cheers Wan :-) | wanobi |
