Anyone who added on the spike to 145 bid on Monday is now 20% down. But it can move just as fast the other way. Into May now, we've had the taking our time but, can we jump to the hurry up part?

Yesterday GOLD was indiscriminately bashed down by a large futures sale just around the time the USA announced the unemployed total had reached 30m.....coincidence ?

AVCT - could be cmb :-) hope so, fingers crossed :-),,, my holding is reduced as I've had to be disciplined and take some profits as it's risen,,, however, I now have a comfortable amount to just sit and watch and not worry about, what ever happens from now on :-) Cheers Wan :-)

Wan ,I don't know if you remember, I mentored Blue Prism Group (PRSM)to you a while back. I asked you to look up about 4 shares during holiday time. Their share price have been high as £25. The magic word is Disruptive Tech,They are in software and AVCT has Disruptive Tech in Bio-Tech . So why can't AVCT share price do similar ??
Once in a lifetime oppertunity IMO.
I am glad to know that you hold quite a few of AVCT shares. NAI.

Good morning all.
Wan,AVCT will do very well IMO. News due at the back end of next week so hoping for good things there. I hope this saliva test comes out a bit sheepish so life can get to some form of normality.
The birds I feed here have been good companions. Their food is running a bit low,we are supposed to come out of this lockdown on the 4th here. I hope the place opens and I can get my 20KG bag of wheat.

AVCT - it is all about showing that their product is more than hype, and every collaboration is a step on that journey.I used to own both FDEV and GAW and see the former has announced its making games based on Warhammer. That should do very well imo.

Morning, an early one at that, taken the decision to cash out my little Oz foray bar Nusantara. The others all made good gains since Christmas with a couple of doubles, Chalice being the star; so been good to test that market again.

Might change my mind with Nus and could ditch it as a dog (down near 40% from buy point), but it’s funded with a partner in tact, so going to persevere as can’t see it falling much more (famous last words). Not ruled out going in for SVL as a silver play but not ready yet.

I also have a small position in mph spent the evening again going through all the news last few years, seems to have plenty of cash to carry on moving forward not so many shares in circulation plenty of director buys relatively small but payed 3 times more where the share price is today. like you said looks like woodford,s and Invesco took this share price down selling out.

Could be another down day for the markets tomorrow by the looks of things going to bag a few more of these sometime tomorrow, cheers AV.

US Household Savings rate went above 13% for March, up from 8% in February, the highest level since 1981.

What will it be for April?
Much nearer 20% I expect, possibly even above that.
Similar story across the developed world i guess, all so dependent upon consumer [debt] led growth.

Though it will likely come back down fast as lockdowns are lifted, I'll bet it remains stubbornly above 10% , come the recovery that will be a tedious, drawn out affair i expect.

Worth considering that Japan's SR has kept on coming higher over the decades and years.
Over the past decade, the lowest annual rate was above 22%.
It was 29% over 2019, with a spike to 59% for December.
