This early morning Oz trading needs to stop, so exited a few more Cardinal and now out of Oklu for a small profit having been late to the party. Slowly whittling down my Oz plays, much easier trading Canada.

GF,

If that were to happen wouldn't countries with gold miner and mines in them just take ownership rather than see the gold leave its borders? The question is would it be'hostile' or at fair market value?

Wan - I think your arithmetic is slightly out there on the length of time to test everyone, I make it,67m/51k = 1313 days, over 3.5 years.

GG that about sums it up. Personally I deal with what I see and feel, not the MSN b.s and I know from family catching CV is not something to be taken lightly, they have and are still struggling; fortunately not needing hospital but it’s pretty nasty stuff.

Those that talk about it being nothing are akin to those that deny the gas chambers existed. Even I’ve had a wake up and smell the coffee moment about it. Usually I’m quite dismissive, not this time.

Was that after swine flu? I came down with that on the plane to Cape Town. Not nice! At least in SA I could get antivirals so felt almost 80% better within 48 hours.

Rb ... there was an interview on Radio 4 at lunchtime that said the UK devised a 'pandemic plan' some years back but obviously subsequent governments didn't implement it (probably because it's beyond their 4 year remit). Singapore took that plan and did! Seems Singapore and South Korea are the only countries that have a grip on this.

Rb,,,, thanx,,,,, I almost called into a radio station the other day to tell them about AVCT/CYTIVA and what they are trying to achieve,,, but, I stopped myself as I did not want to be seen to be pumping an investment I've made and felt uncomfortable in making the call,,, but, I find it incredible that the test has seemingly been completely dismissed by UKGOV,,, what on earth are they thinking,,, to me, if,,, and its still a big IF,,, it's the most obvious way forward to test, track, trace and confine cv19 as we come out of lock-down,,, I could go further in saying its the key to unlocking lock-down,,,,, to me anyhow,,,,, we shall see,,,, and no doubt the USA will get the tests first,,,,, unless UKGOV get behind it and set up manufacturing over here... Cheers Wan :-)

Wan my cousin I mentioned the other week at Burton and Derby’s Uni trust hospital has got the dreaded Covid, had it awhile in fact. But she had to wait days for her test result before it came Sunday, as it had to be sent to Germany ffs!!

The U.K politicians of all parties are amateur clowns when it comes to being prepared.

Well so far so good with all my U.K stocks, now got the Canadian ones following suit.

I’ll have more days like this, minus the stiff neck from putting sealant paints on garage floors (ouch)

Well they seem to think they have found the magic formula from what they did in 2008.
Printing money did not hurt them at all.
So lets do it again, but this time by a hell of a lot more.
If trump does bale out the shale companies that is going to send those printing presses into overdrive.
The world has to see that there is only one thing to do now. That is to value currency by the gold they hold. This would stop all this nonsense of just printing money. But would see the price of gold go threw the roof.

@r1singson
Now there’s a question.
In truth I’m not entirely sure.
I often get reminded by the Mrs when I opined that anyone could buy all my shares if they were prepared to give me 75p for each of them.
Of course the price was about 40p then.
Things change.
New leads, new plans, our visit. Circumstances.
Now this pays a handsome divi the pressure is off making any quick decision.
I’m happy to go with Reza’s guidance, follow his money if you like.
I’ve no reason not to. He’s changed my life and with it the life of my family.
I’m holding and waiting with no real exit target price.
Exit prices can’t really be formulated til the value of the company is known and as Matt has stated many times, it’s not really known yet.

S&P seems glued to 2800/2850. Traded a few AML for beer money, sold half WTI @15.50, traded a few DDDD again, a bit surprised at the dip late on - mm’s had no stance on the RSP but both Berenberg and Singers - the main players there - were favoring the bid when I last checked.

A country where it’s citizens are allowed to arm themselves to the max, falling into a depression - regardless of what the stock market says - does not bear thinking about.

we are walking towards a high cliff with a blindfold on. If you want to extrapolate some recent trends you could see armed uprising in the US lots of people seem happy now to take to the street with guns to protest what happens when the economy tanks when these people find their jobs gone and they no longer can pay the bills as per the article. Nothing to lose anything can happen, extreme view but some extreme things are happening.
