I have just watched peter schiff podcast.
He has highlighted that most gold miners stock has risen 100% in the last month. Here we have gone up about 80% so a little way to catch up. But our share price had been hit a lot worse than most before the crisis started. So in reality we have a long way to catch up.
He also pointed out the CNBC have not mentioned gold or gold stocks. Which is funny as they have been the go to place to invest over the last month. So a network that is supposed to hunt out and inform its viewers about investment opportunities are ignoring the gold sector?

Eyes down CV19 bingo announcement.
Open Orphan ORPH has a RNS today, below, it may spark a jump as it mentions CV19 however they are providing the testing facilities, they are a picks and shovels company but their objective is to increase turnover and sell the company by year end. Expected multiple is 3 times current price based on normal prices of companies in their sector that go for 3 times earnings as they literally started from nothing last year and bought companies for peanuts to make a company that can conduct a testing from start to finish in many areas. The aim is to sell to a large pharma company with a gap in its testing arm.
Place your bets...

Testing of anti-viral for treating COVID-19 underway
Open Orphan plc (ORPH) the rapidly growing specialist CRO pharmaceutical services company which has a focus on orphan drugs and is a world leader in the provision of virology and vaccine challenge study services, is pleased to announce that its London-based subsidiary hVIVO has commenced the testing of an anti-viral for treating COVID-19 on behalf of its client Nearmedic International Ltd.
hVIVO has initiated work on this contract with Nearmedic International Ltd, a specialist pharmaceutical, biotechnological and medical business headquartered in Moscow, to test using hVIVO's virology expertise and laboratory capability an anti-viral drug with potential utility for treating SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19) infections. This drug has both potential anti-viral and anti-inflammatory activity and as such could reduce both virus infectivity and disease severity respectively.
hVIVO will be testing its utility against a panel of viruses to include influenza virus, "normal", circulating betacoronavirus and ultimately SARS-CoV2 (COVID-19).
Cathal Friel, Executive Chairman of Open Orphan, commented:
"We are very happy to be assisting in the battle against Covid-19 and are delighted to be working with Nearmedic International Ltd. hVIVO is a world leading provider of services to global vaccine and antiviral development companies and our scientists have considerable knowledge from previous anti-viral trials which gives us confidence in our testing. We look forward to updating the market on a regular basis in the weeks and months ahead."

This, once again, all comes down to the PSA extension mechanism. We have to show, to modern JORC standards, the commercially exploitable reserves are present to meet the criteria for the two extensions. At same time, we need to do a lot of work with regards what more to invest and where, physically, to make the investment in more plant. It's complex and time consuming

I am working on higher gold prices and lower operating costs than you as, having optimised the CIL plant & increased ore throughput, they will be achieving greater economies. The other 'unknown' variable at this stage as to what extent they experience higher gold grades as they go deeper. All the Russian & Kryso drill data showed grades increased with depth.

Actually, I think my last post was wrong.Needed to add six months worth of expenses to each of around 7m, and then add financing costs. That removes a fair bit of profit.

LA .... pretty good sums. I think a little more but, we're fairly close. It's got a lot of leverage on the business model which i see as an advantage in a rising gold price environment such as this & do those sums again for when they reach Phase II & 100koz/year!I maintain that it is much too cheap. Should be more like treble current price so have been backing the truck up

Thanks Mattjos, very informative.Using your latest daily oz production, and assuming cost of sales remains constant per oz, and that admin and financing expenses remained unchanged, I get the below for annual profit before taxes and any royalty arrangements:Gold at - $m1300 - 14.2.1400 - 19.21500 - 24.11600 - 29.1Very compelling at the mcap! Thanks - appreciate the info. Will look through more over the coming days

I share my frustrations with everyone else here, it feels like forever waiting to hear on a number of prospects and as much as I keep my faith in the BOD here, you wonder when you will know about THE next move. I'm in no rush as the great majority of my holding is in my SIPP account which I can't draw for the next 17 years but it surely wouldn't be instilling confidence in a significant pool of investors hence not surprised with the rather lacklustre price action.

Pogyted,Agree with your sentiment, we have a great business and a bod that generally are doing good things but financial pr isn't one of them. We need new investors to chase this price higher and that isn't going to come along unless we look to drive awareness and this needs to happen with both analyst and broker coverage. A small investment here would reap big rewards imho. Our house brokers have proved to be hopeless over the last year considering the improvements in trading and prospects. Time for a change

On CNG, I've looked at them before, as they have been mentioned here. But there is just one thing that I'm holding back for I think. I can't figure out what their AISC will be. I can't see any official figures. I guess it's too soon? In the BFS I think they stated around 550-600, which isn't at all bad. This is my latest attempt to work it out. Any guidance very welcome Interims suggest a cash cost of 873 to me before admin and finance costs. Admin and finance costs seem to raise cost per oz to 1324I guess that will decrease over time as production increases and efficiencies are made.Does anyone know how to project the long term AISC average? The grade is over 2g/t in the Interims
