Hi guys.
Today Chaarat Gold Holdings has agreed to buy the Kapan Mining in Armenia for $55 Milion.
The owners of Capan Mining was/is Polymetal. I wonder why Polymetal would agree to sell a Gold mine ? I know Chaarat has a very large discovery in Kyrgyz Stan. The shares have been suspended since April ! Why? I have no idea. They sent an RNS out today though.I will have to dig out more information.

wanobi - I’m completely in cash, apart from a few short positions. Closed my Tesla short on the common at 259, rather fortuitously - however still have puts which the way things are looking will likely expire worthless. Closed out AAZ. I don’t want to be long anything right now and restricting myself to short term trades.

AAZ - MM's doing their best to drop the price on tiny sell volume, let's see what happens when they do, will there be any takers or are we all just sat here waiting for further falls?

one more sell and I reckon bid will drop to 65p!

Bumpa, the timing of this is ok for me as I'm only heavily bought into AAZ, I have less than £25K (now 20K!!) in the others, assuming AAZ/Gold (I hope) will be fine, so, this gives me an opportunity to fill my SIPP with some bigger US tech names, the FAANG's as I keep hearing and hold them over time...

I've not bought yet, but, I have just done the W8 thingy on the HL platform so I'm ready to buy... This is very selfish of me, I know, but with what I've learned over the past 2.5 months means I'm now set up and ready to invest and take advantage of the situation,,, thinking clearly, right now the best thing that can happen for me is a crash!!

could end up being a strong day in the USA if people start believing this is the bottom & that's what we need I guess to stop the uncertainty around whether this is a dip, correction, recession start or crash.... misterdeb, H-L holds those shares for it's clients! They do not belong to H-L! With a low market cap stock there tends to be times of poor liquidity, sometimes you just have to use the phone or place a limit order.
