Looking at buying a few here tomo, as the market cap is still very small in relation to assets .
My research has been brief to say the least, the noise all seems to be about UK & Canada which is understandable given they big may go into production again .
What's people's opinions on the Swedish iron mine , aym have a option to take a large slug of it .

There's nothing online except it was huge iron ore mine in the past and has substantial reserves still .

Thanks

Was a holder many years ago when the meteoric rise to a Quid or abouts. Noticed the recent gains as still on my monitor list, and was wondering if they still hold the Canadian fe labrador mine or percentage.

Are they drilling more exploration holes or infill holes @ parys mountain, and how are they going to fund ongoing work

We had a mine life of 8 years and around £225M worth of metal in the ground. Now we have a mine life of around 20-25 yrs and a resource of over a £1 Billion in North Wales. No mining permit needed as we already have one. Oldest copper mine in the world. Copper now at 7 year highs. We have gold in abundance as well which sells at a premium. The share price was was £1 not too long ago. The FD owns 30% of the shares. No dilution as QME want to earn in.

The directors recently sold 2% of their NSR in dalridian to Dalridian gold and returned all the proceeds to shareholders. This was the Minco deal. Shareholders are sat on shares in 3 different companies with significant advanced deposits and an investment in Mexican copper co.

As part of the deal shareholders now own Canadian Manganese., Buchans resources & shares investment in Xtierra.

I was a shareholder in Minco plc and did really really well.

"Anglesey Mining has started a preliminary economic assessment (PEA) for its Parys Mountain base and precious metals project, in north Wales, targeting a longer mine life beyond those indicated previously.

The PEA follows from the optimisation studies recently completed by QME Mining Technical Services (QME), which highlighted up to ten-million tonnes of potentially mineable material available at Parys Mountain, which is significantly larger than the 2.1-million tonnes of indicated resource that was used in the 2017 scoping study.

As a result of the QME work, the planned production rate of 1 000 t/d used in 2017 will be expanded, and the projected mine life of just eight years will be significantly extended.

"The QME optimisation work has given us a sound basis from which to complete the PEA. We are confident that the results from the PEA will confirm our expectation in the extent of the mineral resources at Parys Mountain, and will demonstrate improved outcomes and a longer mine life beyond those indicated previously,” said CEO Bill Hooley.

Mincon International, which prepared the 2012 resource estimate and the 2017 scoping study, was appointed to carry out the PEA for the copper/zinc/lead/gold/silver project, on the island of Anglesey.

The PEA will be finalised by the end of November, after which Anglesey plans to complete a preliminary feasibility study to support financing for development of the mine at Parys Mountain"

Another good week for copper, it's now at a 7 year high. Parys mountain PEA news should send tiny AYM into orbit.....

Seems my top up yesterday was timed nicely 👍

wassapper - I sold 50% of my FCX at 100% profit, I'm therefore in for zero cost. As long as the chart indicators remain in positive territory I will hold until I have an annual rebalance/review of my holdings.

Thanks Trader. I don't have much in the way of US stocks. Interesting that FCX is still 50-60% below it's all time highs, even after a good run this year. Where do you think it is going to?

From memory I think AYM owned 33% LIM during the big 2011 rise, but has since been diluted to 10% or so.

wassapper - I don't hold any UK listed copper specific stocks, but I do take occasional trades in BHP, RIO and GLEN.

75% of my portfolio is in US assets, I hold quite a lot of NYSE:FCX and some NYSE:SCCO

Liking all of that Trader. Thanks for the insight. Any other copper plays you have been casting your eyes over? I have been in CHF for 3 months and today it popped and more to come there. Also liking the sound of CCZ.

Copper will likely be in high demand for a very long time with the switch to EV's and cleaner energy.

Copper in a lovely uptrend, growing the value of Parys mountain and AYM.....

I'll hopefully have a little more than that, the 392k was just a top up. I remember selling these in the 60p's a few years back.

AYM is heading towards 3 year highs, hopefully the price will pop and head for double figures PDQ on the back of higher copper and Iron Ore.
