16/1/2023 10:26 | Well wellChrister Lindqvist presented the Grängesberg Apatite Recovery Project, which aims to recover apatite from stocked tailings of the Grangesberg iron mine (John Matts dam), which was the world's biggest iron ore producer in the nineteenth century. The following rare earth elements will be produced: Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Tb, Eu. Production will be around 13 000 tP/y, with the aim of starting within 3-4 years. The stocked tailings will support around seven years production, and this may be extended with a project to re-open the iron ore minehttps://phosphor | kooba
16/1/2023 10:12 | Wouldn't surprise me if there were | calmtrader
16/1/2023 10:09 | Wonder if there are existing tailings on site that have likely built up in decades of previous mining that could be a feedstock to extract valuable rare earths and apatite..could be a way of commercially extracting value before a reopening of the mine as well as ongoing more efficient capture from new ore? | kooba
16/1/2023 08:52 | Premium being asked for only £3,500 of shares ! | broken_arrow1
15/1/2023 09:00 | I believe the tailings could reduce cost by $20 a tonne | calmtrader
14/1/2023 17:58 | Apologies if this has been posted previously. I see in the recent RNS about AYM taking their holding to 49.75 of GIAB, the following extract: 'Previously, revenue was also generated from the sale of apatite concentrates (17-19% P) produced from the tailings stream. While the PFS indicates potential apatite production of 210ktpa, no sales have yet been included in the financial evaluation. This product also contains elevated rare earth content.' I wonder what '...elevated rare earth content' actually means? | bodgit
14/1/2023 17:10 | came across this (maybe of interest) 2 years time i feel the share price will be very different but hope Joe moves things more quickly | sos100
14/1/2023 14:52 | I think Labrador is just dead money , already listed unless there is some change ..the story looks solid and I think Jo whilst keeping out of it to an extent thinks it offers great relatively short term potential..unfortuna | kooba
14/1/2023 11:53 | I'm up for spinning out our iron ore interests and listing in Aussie or Canada..valuation so so much better over there | calmtrader
14/1/2023 11:12 | Hmm - so the updated resource estimate that was expected in 6 weeks back on November 28th (so by 6th Jan), is now still 3 to 4 weeks away according to Jo. The reason apparently for this huge slippage being Xmas ! | noccer

13/1/2023 19:26 | Unfortunately that has been the case for a while now but they can’t even raise a smile let alone a relatively modest sum to make any progress. They should put the whole thing up for sale or at the very least refresh the management with some under 70s. Good weekend | kooba
13/1/2023 18:58 | And Labrador can be producing within 15 months!! | calmtrader
13/1/2023 18:00 | They hadn't got the money in that was announced in July...so going nowhere as usual...they need a Canadian Jo to get things moving. On July 5, 2022, the Company entered into an agreement with Scully Royalty Ltd. to complete a strategic investment of approximately $5 million, as further described below. This investment had not been completed by Scully as of the date of this MD&A. | kooba
13/1/2023 17:57 | There was an update from LIM in Novhttp://www.labrad | kooba
13/1/2023 17:54 | Thanks for the link calmtrader. It gave me a better idea of time lines for Grangesburg and Parys and I look forward to the slightly delayed resource update for the latter. No mention of LIM. It's tempting to have a dig down the back of the settee to see if there is any loose change there for an AYM top up. If there is, it's probably my grandchildren who will benefit....... Gla. | bodgit
13/1/2023 17:38 | Looks like he's been taken out by them on a few lunches ! Damn thats bad of me..luckily i bet Jo has a robust Australian sense of humour ! | kooba
13/1/2023 16:58 | Not surprised he's going to have every Iron ore trader knocking his door down to get a piece of the action | calmtrader
13/1/2023 16:31 | Jo is buzzing ! This time next year....like it ! | kooba

13/1/2023 15:43 | Lets not forget we have a bit of gold and silver at Parys too !Gold $1915 | kooba
13/1/2023 13:12 | Fertiliser also a major concern..The primary use of apatite is as a source of phosphate in the manufacture of fertilizer and in other industrial uses. | kooba
13/1/2023 13:02 | REE dependency on China in particular is potentially a bigger problem for RoW than Russian gas and look at the problems withholding of that has caused. There are two REE issues, one is where the ore is mined and the other where it is processed. The West is seriously lacking in both. To say that China has been far more long sighted would be something of an understatement. Some of the less rare elements are a strategic concern too for EV etc batteries, e.g. Lithium, Cobalt, Nickel. Enough from me today, things to do rather than wonder when AYM shares will get to double what I paid for them and will it happen before I die! Gla. | bodgit |
