Your great grandchildren will be burying your grandchildren before there's any gold recovered from them there hills.
Would you send your grandchildren to a school if Jimmy Savile was running it? Would you put your money in a bank if Fred the shred was running it? |
… ideally, before my grandchildren retire … |

Where’s m1sterx gone?
“It costs to be stupid, the more stupid you are the more it costs.”
Perhaps he was so stupid it cost him everything he had? |
Can someone remind me how much profit these clowns made for shareholders and how much they returned in dividends? |
Just looking thro the annual report, I see Ian Cuthbertson has returned to the trough at the young age of 77! What use is this old fart? He resigned in 2013, why is he back at the trough at 77 years old? I wouldn’t think he’s much sharper than Joe Biden. And why is the site manager Ron the Con a director of Parys mountain Ltd?
It seems I was correct calling this a money-go-round for the boys club.

With a market cap of £4.5m, and an overall loss last year of £1.8m, is it not also a possibility at some point in the future that AYM gets put into administration, and then rises phoenix-like from the ashes in a pre-pack with all debts written off. Existing shareholders, of course, then kiss goodbye to their shareholdings. Could that happen, especially if the buyers’ appetite for increasingly-diluted shares ever starts to wane ? |
Anybody know what would be involved if the. private investors were to try and take over and buy Anglesey mining. as we might just as well leave it sitting there. until somebody comes along with A realistic offer. As it certainly started to look as the insiders are out. to make a killing for themselves at the expense of the shareholders. |
The losses over the last two years average £138,410 per month, the last £200k placing will evaporate before Christmas, so we can expect another placing to cover wages, expenses and a Christmas party at the golf club.
Over 700m shares in issue at 0.5p by end of next year anyone? |
483,593,017 |
How many shares in issue now ? 🤷a94;️ |
The outcome for the group is a total comprehensive loss for the year of £1,859,181, compared to a loss of £1,462,670 in the previous year.
What are they spending all that money on?
Over the next 12 months they’re going to need to print another 150-200m shares |
Just read the Annual report for 2024. OK on Parys, somewhat underwhelmed on Grangesberg and Labrador looks to be, well, not exactly a gold mine. I hope that 2025 brings positive news and a significant uplift in the share price .... hmmmm. Gla. |
Its always entertaining on a rainy day to plug current metals prices into the resource statements - right now the precious metals value in white rock is much more significant than previously (think its 20-30%), though I am not sure if we saw the recovery rates for these from the latest metallurgical testwork. Hopefully we will have an updated MRE soon (with revised recovery rates) as I don't see how any project finance estimates can be made without it.
If the recent drilling doesn't move some of the NCZ resource from inferred to indicated, then more drilling will be needed to factor this ore body into the project, as inferred resource is not reliable enough.
Glad to see they have finally updated the resource statement on the website, so now it shows the resources in the Measured category stated in the April 2023 RNS. About time ! |
Yep fine ..i am not surprised that a company cannot run on thin air but i would like to see some meaningful progress towards restarting production and specifically when we are to get a PFS produced which would be a milestone in terms of moving to the funding stage. The economics look very strong and the project deliverable..time to move things on at some pace now. |
Zinc continues to push ahead on the Chinese stimulus measures..very important in terms of early production from Parys in the White Rock and Engine zones. Trading well ahead of the last PEA estimates now...but nothing as big as the copper , gold and silver moves we have seen since that was produced.https://tradingeconomics.com/commodity/zinc |
kooba; all well? You and I haven't had a "ding-dong" for a while !! What is your take on the latest fund raising? |
calmtrader; you could have waited a couple of days and for your ~ £500 you will have got more shares !! |
Grabbed 50k |
Lol well done, buy the coins and forget the shares. One day the coin maybe worth more than the whole company.
The 2024 coins with a Bob Marsden clown head on them are worth less than the 2023 coins with the Jo Battershill clown head on them. I’ve no idea of the value if you melt them down to remove the clowns heads, but I’d guess the value would then increase exponentially? |
That Parys copper halfpenny I won last week is looking more attractive now. A week ago, it was only worth 850 shares - now worth 1200 shares - an increase of 40%. Maybe one day, with enough dilutions, it will be worth 1,000,000 shares. What do you reckon, Trader? |
