Was it not just pumped all over BBC Wales news?
The next news will be the annual financial report, which will obviously be ugly.
0.92p now |
We just some decent news flow |
calmtrader, you have far more faith than many of the investors, especially those over the past month or so, who have been burnt and humiliated with the pricing of this recent financing. AYM has now entered the so-called "death spiral" ! |
Right time to move back up |
When is the next placing chaps. Would it be before April 2025? If so we can trade this shttt share. Buy a month before placing. Sp will be hiked towards. Sell at 50% gain.
Then rinse repeat |
trader465; I agree the new/latest CEO isn’t the best corporate person to have at the helm. I don’t doubt his engineering ability but arguably stipulating a person with his background experience is perhaps putting the cart ahead of the horse at this stage of the game. More news is needed to generate the PR and IR machines and he doesn’t seem too enthusiastic to get involved on this front. He would have been better in a COO position working under the direction of a good corporate-knowledgable CEO.
As for the next news, we will have a postponed decision on the granting of the new environment permit and pre-Christmas back to the coffers with their hands out.
Give us some news on the progress of the PFS; where are we with this? Give us some news on the latest debt arrangement because this is more than half the market cap of the Co.? Just give us SOME news?!!! |
We saw the same BBC hype when Battershill “excitedlyR21; turned up, then a downgrade to AIM and placing followed, the same thing happened when the new trainee CEO took over this year, the same BBC articles were repeated, followed by a placing.
The biggest negative for me was Battershill seeking authority at the AGM to issue 100% of share capital annually, that was the last straw for me.
The trainee CEO is being schooled by Battershil on how to operate the AYM share printing machine. |
The audited financials will definitely show a loss as will any exploration and/or development company without any cash flow.
trader465; I firmly believe the recent hype on the back of national and Welsh press coverage, led to an increase in volume and rising sp, and then thought this is a good time to raise much needed cash, and I don’t blame them for doing this; but why on heavens earth did they not raise at >1p and that, I’m afraid to say, is largely down to the efforts, or lack of 🙉, of the broker/s. |
I think the placing was done before the financial results because they expect the price to fall on publication of the financials which are due anytime now, and over the last two years they’ve worked their way through almost 100% of the market cap…
“a total comprehensive loss for the year of £1,462,670, compared to a loss of £2,826,957 in the previous year” |
Decent news flow, has been needed for the past 30 plus years.... |
Right we need some decent news flow now |
If Energold has increased its shareholding then they would need to inform the Exchange and a TR-1 released via RNS. The RNS would be ASAP after the Exchange being informed; in other words, if this doesn’t happen by the time the shares are admitted to AIM, which I believe is sometime next week, then we have to assume Energold will not have participated. If they didn’t participate then they are diluted prorate. I would have thought it bad practice not to inform Energold of this placing as they might well have wished to maintain their >20% holding. |
Pigeons, good morning! People paid up to 40% above the 1p placing because they were led to believe, on the back of what was good volume for AYM, that the company was going stratospheric (I for one wish it would). If AYM had half decent brokers rather than a revamp of the same old inactive crowd, then I believe they could have raised new cash at no more than 15% disc to the previous close. The decision to raise additional funds would have been made when the share price and vol started to go north hence, to the plebs like you and me, we didn’t know anything about it and there was only one closing RNS. Many people on this thread assumed correctly though. £200k is ALL they could raise; no if’s ands but’s, and at 1p is a kick in the teeth to ALL shareholders especially those who bought in around the 1.4p mark. |
Let’s make it simple …
Anglesey Mining was formed in 1984 and floated on the Stock Exchange in 1988. Extensive work was done on site between 1988 and 1990. The site was placed onto care and maintenance in late 1991 due to adverse economic conditions. Further surface drilling and major geological mining and metallurgical studies have taken place since 1997 resulting in the significant resource base and subsequent Preliminary Economic Assessment currently in place.
In all those years no mining , no sales , just directors wages and token exploration to keep the gullible on board |
There is definitely a lot going on behind the scenes. Are Energold Minerals Inc. stake building? Is John Kearney behind Energold? Why was Energold named in the Paradise Papers? Why was Kearney ousted at the last AGM? All looks very murky from the outside looking in. |
morning Buttyboy Interesting what you say but why are I? people paying recently? way above the £0.01. on very, very high volume. and yet they could only raise £200,000. So something doesn't sound right. but we shall. see by the year end. I think there's a lot going on behind the scenes. personally, |
I've heard it all now; "why have they raised only enough money to last until the end of the year"?? The answer is: this is all they could raise !!. The question you should be asking yourself is, why did they raise this £200,000 GROSS @ a pitiful 1p when the stock until then had been trading at 35-40% higher on relatively good volume.
The share price is unlikely to recover in the short term and is going to stay around the 1p mark. Yesterday's RNS is basically saying they will be back with a further fund raise prior to year-end. Also the RNS states, the nett proceeds (let's assume £180,000) will be used to advance Parys, Grangesberg discussions and paying off some of the debt ..... I wish I had such a magic wand !!
I would look at replacing the broker first of all; if not the term "death spiral" is written all over this stock. |
Good morning all. I've been asking myself. why? they only raised enough money. to last until towards the end of the year. so is something alreading in place for the future of AYM. |
Yes but nobody listens to us because we are apparently too stupid to see the wood for the trees and we talk utter tosh 🤣
The proof of the pudding… |
We can only state the obvious trader465 🤷a94;️ |
The irony of his words, I’m so glad I’m not as smart as m1sterx, it certainly paid me to be stupid and pull out here at 3p 🫢
“Remember it costs to be stupid, the more stupid you are the more it costs” |
Who didn’t expect a placing 🤷a94;️ That’s only enough money to last until Christmas, they’ll be issuing more shares in January. My prediction of a billion shares at a fraction of a penny is coming nearer. The issuance of shares since downgrade to AIM is almost unlimited. For each 50% issued the price needs to rise 100% just for investors to remain at B/E. How many 50%’s will they issue, and how many bagger will people need just to recover their investment? And let’s not forget the huge loss on the spread.
Where’s my good friend m1sretx?
m1sterx20 Sep '24 - 11:38 - 7472 of 7514 Oh I see the nut jobs have returned to have a bash, these fools cannot see the wood from the trees, they talk utter tosh.
Remember it costs to be stupid, the more stupid you are the more it costs.
In the meantime the shrewd continue buying, the share price will continue to rise, volume is 3 to 4 times normal levels over the last month, for a reason !!! |
And there you have it fools … placing at 1p as stated will be the case . share price back down to 1p and likely to sink further . Director has his wages for another 12 months 👍 No revenue , massive dilution to get any and already has far too many shares in issue to be investable. Just one big con in my view . |
