It would be nice to know if there was any of us shareholders who has the ability to exercise influence with the BOD to tell them how we feel and how disappointed we are to see the share price at an all time high crash to an all time low and with no RNS or any positive news we are likely to flounder at this level for some considerable time. But I do really feel we need to voice our opinion in the strongest terms. I would be tempted to invest further funds at this level but I am lacking confidence on the BOD's ability and willingness to improve the situation.

5 year low, 4p held by the skin of teeth, I've added some more at these prices. could be the last batch I buy now as if it 4p breaks i'm not willing to add again as who knows where it will stop after that.
Be interested to know what new projects are being sought by management of AYM, there will be another load up rinse by these numptys at some point(pump and dump crews), so patiently hold on, the weekly MA is now around 12p, still 3 bag from current area.

long term liabilities £2.4m loan from Juno bam bam are based on the security of Parys, so in view that they were originally offered £13.5 m from western metals some years ago one would of thought that someone would buy at a 50% discount to book value presently £15m in these latest accounts, they have 11m of tax losses to cfwd also which are worth something for future use in a cash generating project

Market cap still looks weighty here

LIM investment now worth just 1.4p per share (£2.2m)
Parys uneconomic at current prices, negligible value
£0.4m cash at Sep 2013. Long-term liabilities -£2.4m

i have had a look at lims balance sheet it still has good assets & licences for a couple more decent deposits valuing at $300m take off the payables say $60m left with $240m ,discount that by 50% you have $120m which is 4 times the current mkt cap, tata are still to inject the 25m cash for howse i see that as contribution for the start up in 2014 but think we will get a better idea of financials on next 1/4

So LIM needs large chunk to open its doors at start of season by which time AYM also going to need cash. Sell LIM to TATA sell Pary's to anybody who will take it and put the money on red 50:50 chance then of getting something back. Guess they would need to find another more suckers to keep paying their salaries.

book value of Parys after paying off Juno still around 13m & presently add 2.5m for lim @ 20c plus 400K cash we presently have total assets £15.5m the 4p share price presently discounts all assets by at least 50%, as present mkt cap showing on my screen as £6.82m the 400k of cash they have will certainly see them through another 12/18mths as cash burn not intense.
You will see an increase in share price if metal prices do infact rise ,still possibilities for the lim investment tata may take further interest in lim ,may be just a paper offer & merge into nml just a waiting game , the tata nml dso project will not be getting commisioned at least till oct 2014,if Tata want to produce dso in interim the will have to lease the mobile processing equip , i cannot understand why lim don't just sell the ore to tata for european markets

My position is the same as yours and the news here is so depressing that I feel tempted to bail out. Having done so with 2 other losers in the last few months (AMP and PAL), I have had the galling experience of seeing each of them double or more overnight on developments I had not foreseen.
My AYM shares being in an ISA, the loss is of no use for tax against gains made elsewhere and so I shall hang on. Perhaps TATA will take over LIM; we must hope for something.
As for Parys, I regard this project as worthless and just an excuse for our directors to pay themselves a salary.

News from WLFE today

""The process of acquiring these properties has been a prime focus for the Company since acquiring the project, recognising the sensitivities that are obviously present when working with the local community and we are very pleased to have finalised the contract for the purchase of the last property. This is a pre-requisite to building the Hemerdon project and is a key milestone in the advancement of what will be Britain's first metal mine for 45 years""

Parys decades on and still not mined, maybe WLFE will buy us in 20 years time!

Al - That would require BOD to actually have any consideration for shareholders something which has become grossly apparent they have not. Was here also before LIM, as was Laser and a few others as you know, and when LIM came along it did look like the golden goose but Pary's has never happened and gold has been of the fools variety but do still think it could be turned around but doubt by this BOD who seem to have become rabbit stuck in the headlights and content to let the tail wag the dog.
captj

Reading all these Laser would suggest that everyone thinks the BOD are dithering and in case of Pary's downright uneconomical with the truth. 2014 is round the corner and lack of clarity on plans moving forward seem to be highlighted in every report which doesn't exactly show the BOD in good light as successful operations have a plan for years ahead not groping in the dark as to what to do next week or next month. As I mentioned before the large holders must be taking a bath presently as money raised was at a substantially higher buy in level and surprised that these guys who you would expect to be financially astute are not on top of BOD and pushing for change. At this level of management the lack of perceived planning and decision making going forward is shocking especially when a bit of foresight would at least give the impression they are organised and know what they are doing. Have to be hopeful though nothing here to suggest a reason I should be other than possible increased TATA involvement or potential sale of Pary's as these guys are never going to mine it and have cried wolf to many times to be believed.
